She held up a hand, dismissing him. He needed to be trained, his reflexes, understandably dulled by her twisted toying with his inner-workings, she saw the situation clearer with each study. This man no king but a knight in training would be easily possible. The fall was a good sign in some light however, he was completely numb, enamored by her poisonous allure, she had him in her grasp and now, the final touch could be applied. She took a breath and shook her head uttering with a painted smile. “ Oh I’m a goose aren’t I? ” She chortles, a short breath escaping as she laughed silently at herself. She played the same role, the same mask over her intentions was firmly in place as that fateful day in her youth. Deep inside not much had changed after all, only now she was powerful, now she had the upper hand.
