I felt like the original EA hairstyle had potential but it was just too flat in many ways, so this my way to fix it according to my own taste: V-shaped, longer, more voluminous, and with improved textures that make the hair look healthier and shinier. This is what I’m talking about.

Okay, I’ve been messing around with this for a bit, but decided I should probably stop being a perfectionist and just upload already, lol. Requires My Wedding Stories. This merged package includes:

All hairs added by My Wedding Stories in Sorbets Remix colors

Texreffed versions for alternate frames and, where applicable, toddlers and children

Four accessory overlays for the first 4 hairs seen above; I didn’t feel the headband warranted one. The overlays for the braided bun and veil contain extra swatches with EA’s colors. The afro overlay has a tiny graphical error that seems to only be visible in CAS. (This is why I was late uploading – might fix and reupload later.)

This mod brings a new preferences category of Age Groups.

I create this because I feel like Sims should have more unique preferences in their social aspect. I also don't like that there is only a Hate Children "trait" and none for liking or for other age groups.

A Sim will have their own reactions, autonomy, faster and slower relationships built with other Sims depending on their own Age, Preferences, and Relationship Levels with the other Sims.

You can pick and choose any of the custom preferences in CAS.

** Base game compatible. No other requirement!

** Compatible with any other mods.

Other than the Buffs you see from interacting with other Sims, you may also see the following game effects when Sims interact with each other.

With a Good preference toward the Sim,

Sims gain fun from hanging out with friends, build friendship very fast, have slower social motive decay, and are generally Happier, more Friendly or Fun

+0.75 Fun motive; x1.5 Friendship Gain; x0.8 Social Needs Decay; Happy Buffs stay longer x0.8; Sad Buffs go away x1.3 fast; x1.3 Friendly and Funny Interactions

With a Fair preference toward the Sim,

Sims gain fun from socializing, build friendship fast, has slower social motive decay, and are generally Happier, and less Mean to others

+0.25 Fun motive; x1.3 Friendship Gain, x0.9 Social Needs Decay, Happy Buffs stay longer x0.8; x0.8 Mean and Mischief Interactions

With a Bad preference toward the Sim,

Sims build friendship slowly, has faster social motive decay, and are less Playful, Friendly or Fun

x0.6 Friendship Gain, x1.2 Social Needs Decay, Playful Buffs go away x1.6 fast, x0.6 Friendly and Funny Interactions

With a Worst preference toward the Sim,

Sims build friendship very slowly, has faster social motive decay, are unhappy, and are Mean to others

@ratboysims’ impact eyes in sims3melancholic’s 135 naturals and unnaturals!

hello, i return with an amazing gift, that took 2 days (three technically, but today is not over yet).

i recently got my hands on some of @sims3melancholic’s eyes and loved the variety! but i then realised that these eyes that i’m using don’t come in the same variety so, i recoloured these eyes, and created EVERY. SINGLE.GRADIENT. all by myself!

…Or at least as close as it can get to TS3 style. No, but seriously, I couldn’t find any references directly addressing this in the wiki so I was starting to be concerned I might have been imagining the rock-eating aliens of TS3. But yeah, it really was a thing.

So alas, this mod is a simple one, but hopefully brimming with potential (exclusively if you miss your aliens being able to eat rocks, though)!

XML Injector is required

I made two versions because I play using Nyx’s Enhanced Aliens, and I recommend that if you’re gonna be playing Aliens, but you can also use the regular one for plain Get To Work Aliens.

Any element, metal, or crystal that initially had the option to be transmuted by Aliens from GTW will now be consumable in exchange for restoring either Brain Power or Energy to completion, regardless of whether it was at zero or nearly full, so be mindful of when and what you eat!

Brain Power version:

Requires Get to Work + Nyx’s Enhanced Aliens

Brain Power will be restored to maximum

The transmutable collectible will be permanently destroyed

Energy version:

Requires Get to Work

Energy will be restored to maximum

The transmutable collectible will be permanently destroyed

am alien, how do i eat rock?

Easy, my wonderful Sixami friend! Just drag the collectible into your inventory and nom nom nom

Can I eat collectibles from the world?

Technically yes, but it might look weird, since they will immediately disappear from wherever they were, while if you have them in inventory you won’t see them slowly fade into the void. To be fair, that is purely visual.

Which specific collectibles can I consume?

Any collectible that Aliens could have transmuted in GTW, from whichever pack, so long as they were transmutable. Theoretically this could also apply to custom items, but I don’t actually know of any I could test on, so that part is “theoretical”

Languages:

Should work with all languages because I just hijacked the in-game string for “eat” (partly because of practicality, partly because I couldn’t stop laughing at metals suddenly having an “Eat” action)

Valentines Holiday Tradition

So I'm late to the party, but here's a little Valentine's Day gift for you. I'm tempting fate posting it before tomorrow's patch but we'll see!

What It Is

This mod offers a new holiday tradition - Valentines - and some features that go with that. You can ask other sims to be your valentines or send valentines through the mail or computer. It's meant to be used in conjunction with Love Day but you can of course use it whenever.
