Dad: Oh that's great, I'm so proud of you!

Me: Yeah, I'm just a little less poor now ha

Dad: This is so great! Now you can get off my phone plan

Mom Text: If you two are going to get my Mother's Day gifts then pick up some flowers for me

Me to my Dad: Rude, she needs to be happy with whatever I get her, tell her she's rude

Dad: I'm going to say rude to her plus I already got her a gift

Two weeks later

Dad Text: Hey so there's this really cool book by this guy and that would be a great gift for Father's Day

Me: You got money?

Dad: Yes! Of course I have money! That's what I'm made of! That's what I'm here for!

*ten minutes later*

Dad: Ok, I don't have a lot of money on me but here, take my card
