“Okay, okay—” He shooed Kara out of the room and quickly stepped into the shower after the door had closed.

Kara rolled her eyes at him before sniffing and moving back to the couch, playing with the remote.

“I’ll go as fast as I can– so long as I get clean.“ Tim began to strip down, discarding each item of clothing.

“Yeah, yeah, just hurt, okay?” She said before flushing slightly and quickly moving out of the bathroom and closing the door behind her.

“Well if you don’t want to join me, then I say that you shouldn’t get to watch. Now can i shower or what?”

She nodded at him as she walked to the door. “Just hurry up, okay? You wouldn’t want me to get bored waiting for you, now would you?”

“I know you’ve told me before– I just, I don’t understand it all.”

She let out a soft sigh. “What exactly don’t you understand?”

“I want to make you happy– and if that’s what it takes, then I’m willing to do it.”

She shook her head. “You don’t want to... So don’t...”

“I certainly don’t mind it, makes me feel more comfortable then just having you watch to be quite honest.”

“That’s adorable, honestly,” Kara smiled shyly. “But we’re not going to do that, not yet anyway.”

“Who is this she and is she like– constantly monitoring your vitals or something?”

“Tim... I’ve told you before, Brainiac.” She rolled her eyes. 

“You mean to tell me, that you never, ever had control of your own anger?”

“Sweetheart, I had control until she poisoned me with black kryptonite, never had control since, I mean, I can still get angry on my own if she allows me to.”

“Wouldn’t you? I think it’s a bit more personal.”

“Oh, you like getting personal, then?”

“Kara— What if I do put on the costume?”

“You don’t want to, Tim... There’s no point in continuing this conversation...”

Tim let his hand down and opened eyes. “You’re welcome– Now just accept what you get.”

She shook her head and looked away. “No... You can take them off...”

“In the sense that I’ll be dripping wet, and you can cop a feel?”

“Huh, you prefer that over x-ray, then?”

“Okay, well– How do you regain control, put it into your own hands?”

“How am I supposed to know that?”
