Letting go can be hard and often painful but sometimes you come out of it feeling free at last. Relieved and occasionally reflecting that maybe it has given you some knew perspective on it all. We’d like to know how it made you feel to let something go! It is important to feel that you can express yourself in some form, whether it through communicating with your loved ones or through writing or art. In this next issue we are exploring 'Letting Go'. A phenomenal photographerfrom Ontario, Canada. The piece in Issue 02 - Nests is a little different from the work you will find online by Petrose but we love it much the same. You should definitely take a moment to check out the portrait work up online!

Sebastian Soros might look like a fresh face to the pop culture scene, but one quick look at his work (instagram: @sebastian.matthew) and you can see that he captures the colours and social ideas that this style demands. This piece showcasing the many advertisements and colours of a New York newsstand really grabs your attention. There is something about a well composed photo with this much stimulus that makes you want to see it printed in large so you can take the time to read all the labels, covers and flavours. (This is one of two pieces in Issue 02 - Nests by Sebastian).

Megan Quinn captures the beauty of the Australian landscape and way of life with a romanticism usually reserved for Scandinavian pine forests and Californian mountain ranges. We are so grateful that she returned for Issue 02 - Nests. Check her out @mondayquinn 

This submission was sent to us by Andrew Clark. His photographs combine the vibrancy of colour film/his general exploration of colour and the natural beauty of the outdoors create these deeply calm and satisfying images. @andrewkclark 

This piece was made by Contents New Media Club's very own Maddie Start, currently based in Cairns, QLD Maddie Start Her photos are also so incredible. She has put in two pieces, the other is a photograph, then all the work of putting all the art/writing together for the zine along with all the added graphics, etc. I would be totally lost without her.
