Last year at this time I would not have expected to be this happy now. And especially not the year before

Marriage is so good. Like you’re telling me that I just get to hang out with my best friend all the time? For the rest of my life? And I don’t have to do life alone???

Sometimes being okay sneaks up on you

Somehow Tommy Lefroy really gets it in Jericho Beach. The song isn’t even directly related to my life but the emotions are.

I am a different person than I once was. But some things never change.

I’m thinking about bringing this blog back. It started as a quiet, very personal blog. I haven’t been on it in a few years. A lot of things are different now.

My boyfriend has to work late today, so he hasn’t been able to talk much. It’s weird because we usually text a lot and I miss him. But the thought occurred to me that I used to feel this alone all the time and miss my last bf like this. I would want to talk, then he would barely give me his time. He was busy sometimes, and it’s also just who he is. I don’t blame him for that. It’s just amazing how you can have one relationship with aspects that are painful, but that you don’t get out of. Then you can have another where all of the things that you were unhappy about are fixed. There’s always things to work though, but I’m happy right now

Rosaries are amazing
