guinea pig died in my hands today :(
#she was really really sick#and rolled off the top of her cage and fell onto carpet#I feel sooooooo bad about that because I'm the one that put her up there to syringe feed her because she was having GI stasis....#it was literally only 16 inches high#but she was vitamin c deficient too so her bones must've been weaker#she also had a uri and mites/lice#I bought her partially because she was so cute partially because she was sick and needed help#I just feel so bad she fell and like it's my fault I shouldn't have put her up there she wasn't even that near the edge#I think because she was already so sick she rolled off there were a couple times she lost her balance previous to that happening#this is not what I wanted to happen at all I wanted to enjoy her for years :(#and now my other guinea pig is all alone#animal care has been tough lately my rabbit had heart failure and had to be euthanized in september#my betta fish also got a bacterial infection and died in september#and I knew what I was signing up for here but I thought I could save her......
