Finished my little short story that the GM asked me to write, and wow, is it absolute dreck. Just complete pigswill. But! At least it is done, and right on time for the sessions themselves to resume.

Inaugural post moment because I was encouraged to talk about an OC I like a lot (first one to ever give me brainworms, so to speak!)

Meet Valerie Keldt, who goes by Val! She's a Thrynn Enochian in our table's game of ICON, which is essentially to say she's a long-suffering flame witch expelled from her home and made to wander as a result of her powers emerging unexpectedly in a town where fire represents decay and enervation. She first set out to travel the world in search of a man named Uzog, who her mentor and would-be father figure after her expulsion, Suta, was once friends with. Now that she's found him, she's moved on to trying to open back up to people and also find her own place in the world.
