âShow Meâ is a lush, dreamy set of visuals thatâll have swaying under the nearest mirror ball. We filmed this video in our apartment, when we were living in LA. Iâm sure the neighbors were wondering âwhat are those lightsâ going all night long. No, the acid isnât real, but then again maybe it is.Â
Complicated Animals Release Video âTimes Like Theseâ
Brazilian American duo Complicated Animals have released the video for their new cover of âTimes Like Theseâ by Foo Fighters. Vocalist Monica da Silva and guitarist Chad Alger gravitated to the track because the lyrics are in line with the events of this year.
Miami based artist Karla Caprali created the video using a traditional animation technique, drawing each frame by hand. She helped to realize the duoâs vision, by featuring some of this yearâs major world happenings.
Monica and Chad had this to say about their new video. âFrom a deadly pandemic to a global movement for racial justice, 2020 has experienced its fair share of world-shifting events. This year sure has been different, but it has also been inspiring. We have seen people rise up and come together. We believe that these are the times that shape us. The most important thing we can do right now is to be there for each other, and lift each other up. The world needs more of that.â
