The Song Onion-San Hears=Lake Song=My Deltarune (Gaster’s interpretation)
The Prophecy=The Church’s Interpretation
I am not sure whether The Prophecy in the Church IS Gaster’s interpretation, or if it’s what Gaster is interpreting, or if The Prophecy is interpreting Gaster’s descisions… hard to tell which one came first, but due to the Church Dark World’s prophecy being the main antagonist it is probably related to Gaster (Mr. Chekhov’s Gunermaker) somehow.
The Deltarune was interpreted differently in Undertale and Deltarune (the Game), so at least between worlds it is mutable.

Gerson saying that the song ringing from the deep is the Hammer of Justice. (Gerson is correct because he interpreted the Song from the Sea (or at least, the prophecy’s version) into Lord of the Hammer.)
This ties into the bigger idea of reinterpretation he brought up with Dragon Blazers. Lord of the Hammer is not more real than Dragon Blazers, so what The Fun Gang ends up writing as the prophecy’s end is not doomed to be less real than the currently believed interpretation of The Prophecy! After all, the Prophecy itself is just one interpretation, and Gaster’s Deltarune is just one interpretation!
If Gaster or Carol or somebody really really wants one version to be the right version, they’re going to become a great antagonist… but I believe our heroes can write a happier ending from the pieces they have! Maybe not a perfect one, but a better one! It’s ok, I’ll forgive them for banishing me if it makes the best Happily Ever After for them
I will refine this Theory into one more readable, but I needed to get my bets on the board before the game starts!
