Recovery has been slow but okay :)

My relationship with my friend has been 22 years strong, and I don’t want to lose that. Our parents are best friends, we grew up together, he was my neighbour as a young kid. We’ve gone through big life things side by side supporting eachother. I guess he acted on feelings and desire, I don’t know. It was funny until it got serious in the moment and I had to say stop because boundaries would have been crossed that I don’t want to cross at this time in my life. I respect him a lot as a person. I also respect myself enough to know it would have made me feel guilt afterwards. (I don’t feel guilt or regret on what did happen though, it was fun and he is a great kisser. Also the size difference was really shocking in that moment)

Well, I don’t date tbh. & I made clear boundaries with my friend, nothing is going to happen 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t wanna ruin my friendship over something that was unexpected, he’s respecting my boundaries :)

Thank you! Surgery was okay. Recovery has not been great. I spent yesterday in the ER for post op complications and I’m on strict bedrest until my 4 week follow up. 😭
