(I refer to us using first and second person pronouns as we are playing as a character) Gonna go on a yap session rq. This game is psychological horror and does deal with darker topics so keep that in mind while reading this or going to play the game. There ARE SPOILERS ahead so keep that in mind as well. Idek where to start tbh its so overwhelmingly good, in my opinion. Starting at the beginning I am kinda confused on why we're in like a forest? Possible foreshadowing? We (Travis) might've already been experiencing suicidal thoughts? And the ending I got for the game we basically commit right where we started, so maybe its like "you went no where why keep trying" typa thing? The first dream I didn't really get either, nor did I particularly like because it was just kinda hard to walk around, and the flashes for the lightning lowkey kept flash banging me lmao. We got like an early gift from our friend Devin (hope I spelt that right) and this is where we really get to see some of our symptoms of schizophrenia. We start to space out badly, start seeing shit, tryna find Devin, seemingly having this overwhelming anxiety without Devin. Symptoms were also kinda reminding me of maybe BPD with Devin being a possible "favorite person." I'll get more into that soon. We agree that Devin can bring someone over on Christmas Eve, even though we're not good with people other than Devin. On Christmas Eve when we come back home "who is this omg." We don't remember giving Devin the okay because we were kinda out of it. Some of my favorite visuals, that are maybe common in those who struggle with mental issues, are the thoughts of violence towards the guy that came over, Rusty, and the demon horns that flashes above his head. Especially with my mental issues I have definitely had visuals like that, and I enjoyed seeing it in the game. Devin yells at us and we kinda lose it once more, like a part of ourselves breaking because all we have is Devin and he told us he hated us. We get another dream called "Human Fly" which I take this as it talking about Rusty. He is a fly, a pest, in our and Devin's friendship. He is "ruining everything" in our eyes. I don't really get what we do in the dream, maybe once I replay I'll have a better understanding. Now I don't remember when this happens but a visual appears on screen momentarily and it references Revelations 6:12 which basically talking about like a catastrophic disturbance. DEVIN SAYING HE HATES US. THE ONLY PERSON WE CAN TRUST. THE ONLY PERSON WE CAN BE AROUND. And this is what makes me believe we show signs of BPD as well. We have fears of being abandoned by Devin. Don't remember when but we're so adamantly thinking to ourselves "we have to apologize. we need to apologize." Along with his chronic emptiness(?) which is what I consider him spacing out, not really talking to Devin even if he can't seem to live without him, speaking in what I believe to be a monotone voice by the way he says some things (Ex: "I'm not thirsty"). His self-destructive actions, such as him pushing literally everyone away, refusing help from anyone no matter how important. Him picking the fight with Rusty, even though Rusty escalated it and I am in no way blaming what we did, it ruined his relationship with Devin and can also be seen as extreme anger, since he did have thoughts of violence towards Rusty. We also refuse help when we clearly need it, and people, Devin, are saying we need to seek help. Anyway we hear noises in the middle of the night, and it was obvious to me, but Devin was leaving. In the middle of the night. No nothing. Neither of the characters have phones btw. We then wake up, wondering what we heard, come out of our room blah blah. We talk to "Devin" and if it isn't obvious by me putting quotes its not Devin. He's hallucinating. It was very obvious to me he was hallucinating because Devin was saying stuff such as "I forgive you. I forgave you a long time ago." Not saying any of the stuff I notices is bad I thought it was good, so I'm not hating. (finishing in tags)
