A look inside the middle of the speaker. The space is inhabited by sound waves that get realized by the dynamic sinusoidal flow of the floor. As the pitch of the speaker dips and rises, the floor reacts accordingly and allows circulation to reach the different levels of balconies.

This was the final major feature that solidified my design. It was brought into reality by Ian who showed my the brilliance of Record History.

With Record History I was able to create a flat loft and warp it by twisting the lines that I originally lofted together. This practice can be seen in the bottom picture.

Look out balconies run along inside the outer shell of the speaker.

I have worked many hours on my folly without recording my process work. Life really doesn’t flow right now. Bits and pieces come together here and there but whatever. This is my story ya know? The ups got me soaring and the lows really like to pull me down. I feel like the world spins around me as I stay still. However there are moments of gold that shine through. My folly blasts sound around the bus stop and replicates this loud block that keeps me from flowing smoothly. BUT hit me with the challenge. High school gave me a back rub and now I’m getting smacked. Finally can appreciate real life.

Snow covers everything in sight. I am imagining what my music looks like as a physical presence around me. I am listening to YSIV (Young Sinatra 4) by Logic while I take this picture.

I can’t help but bop my head to the boom bap beat as Logic describes his success and hardships. The subtle piano chords in the first portion of the song gets me thinking about a time when I was younger listening to hip hop beats with my cousin as he freestyled in our Grandparents’ basement. The second beat that kicks in is much more melancholy and I start looking at how the sun sparkles off the fresh, untouched snow. I think about how beautifully perfect the snow is and how spending time to observe the twinkling ground took me out of my mind and granted no room to dwell on negative thoughts. Such a pure aspect of life.

This song takes me to a place where seagulls are the primary observers. The air is tainted with salt from the ocean. Wind blows in small, delicate gusts that calm all life touched by its gentle graze.

Guitar strokes allude to a need to dance and express oneself through body movement. Other string instruments poke their fragile voices into the air and my mind soars with the birds. All while grooving to a simplistic rhythm that dips and flows with the crashing waves brought in by the powerful ocean.

I wake up everyday and listen to music. The day feels empty and slow if I don’t spice it up with some tunes.

Each day has a different vibe but I am going to be analysing and modelling what I listen to during my walk to the bus stop from my front door.

The forms yet to be created will show flow and will represent how I feel depending on what artist and genre I happen to be listening to.

Drew some thoughts and things that interested me surrounding my site.
