Wait are the last pages added to chapter 139 canon? Why were they added later?

What really rubs me the wrong way about ch 139 is how every character seem to be be grateful to Eren for...killing 80% of the population. And let me be clear, not only soldiers or even Merelians who were the reason some Eldians were on Paradis on the first place but everyone, indiscriminately. No matter the reason, if you kill people like those refugees kids we watched being killed, you need to present me a very good reason to explain why this mass murder is a "hero". I really had to read Armin say "thank you for becoming a mass murderer for our sake"???? And what makes me laugh is that even Eren is self aware that it was an horrible thing to do and there is no possible forgiveness. The fact that he was framed like a hero who "sacrificed so much" is so stupid knowing that he forced 80% of the population to go through worse.

Just a question about the last chapter. What is Eren talking about when he mentioned Bert? That he had the smiling titan eat his mom because Dina was heading towards Bert, and Eren needed to save him for Armin? I don't understand the connection, help.

I need to go back in time to five minutes ago when I didn't read the last panel of ch 138. Wtf was that??? I can't stress it enough,,,WTF.

I need everyone to tell me what happened in the last chapter because it feels like I am reading some kind of creepy fanfic.

With Gabi mentioning the parasite and their goal to destroy it I am now 99% sure that the series will end with the Titan power taken from humanity. I think this could help with solving the situation between Eldians and the other countries as well as save the shifters that are still alive at the end of the series. However it's hard to tell how many shifters will be alive for them to benefit from the end of the "13 years curse" seeing how things are going.
