I think Shady is one of the best Marinette looks in the whole series but I did make a few changes just for fun. I wanted her to be angular and intense, and I liked how her suit covers more of her face and neck. The red on her suit is vivid and a little straining and the majority of the suit is black. As for after her redemption I wanted to keep some aspects of her that make her different from standard marinette. She’s got more edge with her style and is very much a different person in how her experiences have shaped who she is. I made the black and red (thought it’s more hot pink) more balanced to show how she’s become more balanced in her mindset by striving for hope and happiness despite the darkness. I also loved her hair in the high buns so as a sort of compromise between what the special did and what I liked I gave her high pigtails instead of the standard low ones. I also kind of like the idea of her liberation from the darkness and control of the supreme being expressed in how her hair is now looser, in fluffy pigtails instead of sleek buns.
