Accepting dowry? Oh no! The woman should have refused! It's female's fault. Not boy's family, her own family, or the society who might outcast them, but hers?

It gets worse. Unable to have a baby. People are pretty sure it's the women's fault. She must be DEFINITELY doing something and not maybe their is something wrong with the man too.

If the husband is found cheating then also. I mean, how? How can you blame the female for not trying hard enough? Her husband is a grown up man not a small kid who needs to be told what to be done!

Also, the fact that divorce is women's fault. And if the female is happy after divorce or without a man, oh no! People just can't accept that. Why is it so hard to accept the fact that women/girls are people who can exist without constantly being with a male guy!

A/n: Wrote this based on how I’ve been feeling lately.

The world had started to seem more irritable as if every last thing made from man was a two-year-old child who wanted attention. Annoying. The walls seemed closer together and a ping of rushed anxiousness exploded in your chest. It didn’t take you long after to realize that you were having yet another panic attack. 

It was mid-day, maybe four o’clock, and the boys along with April and Casey were retracing the steps of the latest case. Their voices seemed closer, louder, rushed and you began to find it hard to breathe. Your eyes skip across the lair, trying to find something to put your focus on yet you’re left disappointed. 

That is until Mykie looked over April’s shoulder and saw you with your head between your legs, your back lifting and falling at a rapid speed that made him worry. He nudged Raph, nodding his head toward you and watching as his brother’s face switched from focused to distressed. 

The six-foot-six mutant turtle walked over to you, slowly approaching you with his hand on your back. “Baby,” he whispers. “I’m here, ‘kay? Come with me.” 

His hand laces with your own and he walks the two of you from the main space of the lair to the garbage truck that Donnie had been working on. As the two of you get settled onto the leather bench, Raph digs under the seat and pulls out a little black case. He opens it up and grabs one of the blunts that lay resting inside and then puts the case back under the seat. 

“Raph-”

“Shh, baby. Just listen to me,” he says and lights it up. “I know you’ve been uneasy about smoking, but just try it… please?”

You look into his eyes. Those golden eyes that make your stomach do that flip-thing. Sighing, you take the shell from him and rest it between your lips, slowly sucking and filling your throat with smoke. It tasted better than the last time you smoked, but you still began to cough up a lung. 

Raph chuckled but his hand continued to rub circles on your back. “That’ll get high faster,” he pointed out and you nodded, already feeling it in the back of your brain, but you weren’t quite there.

The more you smoked, the more you loved the feeling. You were calm, stress-free, and happy. It was as if the weight you were carrying on your shoulders dissolved and you didn’t even realize it, you were too focused on Raph as he took long drags from the blunt and did tricks with the smoke. 

“You seem better,” he smiled, pulling you closer. “I like you this way.”

“What way?” you smiled, barely able to keep your eyes open. 

“Happy.”

he gonna be a father, now the protectiveness is upped by a million

the first trimester, he's okay barely he read the miscarriages are mostly common so he's by your side in an instant

and if you have any slight pain, he calls Donnie instantly

as you enter the second and third he's more wary of you doing activities

no one must touch you unless it's absolutely necessary

and even then, he's there to ensure nothing goes down

when Donnie is checking you over, Leo is eyeing everything

even though he knows his brother would never try anything stupid

Mikey's antics must be on pause anytime you're near

and Raphael must learn how to control his anger in case he accidentally swings at you

it's these weird little thoughts Leo has that makes him so cautious and protective

you'd be like "gimme some space!" and he's like "babe, you're pregnant! anything could happen!" *cue you giving him a death glare*

his heart is in the right place though

his execution, however, can be a little overwhelming

still, you love him always

when he hears the baby's heartbeat for the first time, there's a tear rolling down his cheek. he's a proud papa :")

he acts like everything will be a breeze

leader boy has everything planned! 👏👏

down to the very last detail

or so he likes to think

this is the first time that a pregnancy is happening in the family

so, he makes sure to read up a lot on the process

he knows that it's going to be an exhausting time for you and for the baby

but you can bet when you're actually going into labour, he'll panic

but it's very subtle, he won't blow his head off because he's comforting you

he will never understand your pregnancy cravings

will make you whatever your heart wants

but his cooking skills.... need a lil work

still, you know he means well

your emotions also scare him a little

how the fuck are you crying and then laughing and then a hothead in the span of 3 minutes??

you put Raph to shame when you're angry btw

speaking of Raph, he made you little blankets and items of clothing for your baby

the brothers are so excited to be an uncle! splinter is excited to be a grandad

and for you both!

they're secretly hoping once Leo is a father, he's less strict on their shells

you both have names planned for the baby, slight arguments which one suits the baby better

he doesn't want to learn the sex of the baby

because, whether it be a boy or girl, he's going to love them endlessly

it's your choice what you do

they've already starting to build a small bassinet for the kiddo

painting it and decorating it

also, i feel like it's important to mention the hormones

pregnancy can increase your libido

so, he helps any way he can ;))

whatever you desire, you get

that means if it's early morning and you're feeling needy, you best believe he'll roll around and 'help' you

when your bump becomes noticeable

he doesn't want to continue the traditional way in fear it may harm the baby

but his tongue and hand get the job done anyway

you both cuddle up closer, during this time

he loves placing his hand on your belly and gets so proud when he feels his baby kick

"my little ninja, don't give your momma too much trouble" he says, holding back tears

he wants to experience everything with you

because it's such a beautiful blessing

you look so beautiful, you always do.

he's so in love with you, he may aswell be your admirer

not that he isn't already lol

it's going to be such a sweet time with him

and once the baby is born, his heart melts into a million pieces
