HOW TO CALCULATE CALORIES BURNED
I see a lot of people doing this incorrectly. Every body is different meaning everyone is going to burn a different amount of calories doing the same workout just because something says it burns 200 cals doesn’t mean it will for you.
The formula is :
Total calories burned = Duration (in minutes)*(MET*3.5*weight in kg)/200
First your going to find out how many minutes you were doing the exercise(s).
Then you have to figure out the MET (Metabolic-equivalent-for-task) the harder the worker out is the higher the MET.
Here is a website that you can find the MET of most workouts or you can just look it up.
Then if your weight is not already in kg you will need to transfer it into kg you can just search for this.
Add that information into the correct blanks in the equation then put the completed equation into a calculator and you’ve got the correct amount of cals burned.
If u guys wants i can also do a post on calculating your BMR (the calories you burn doing literally nothing)
I'm getting drunk alone in my room but in an aesthetic way and not a sad one
accountability
eaten 962
burned 432
net 530
Accountability-
eaten : 1479
burned : 967
net : 512
not rlly happy with how much i ate i feel like such a mf fake i used to be able to eat like 300 and not binge wtf happened :/
gonna start posting my activity and cals to keep me on track i ate a lot yesterday but i burned over 800 cals im trying to slowly lower my cal intake again so i don’t binge
