"Did...did that rock just move?"

Elsa had been walking along the coast of the fjord, enjoying just a nice walk along the shore by herself. She smiled slightly at the ocean, watching the waves recede and crash against the rocky shore. She loved taking walks as a break or when she was done doing paperwork. They completely relaxed her. Then, Elsa heard singing--not far from her. Maybe just several feet up ahead.
The queen stopped to listen, eyebrows furrowing. She thought it was the wind, but no, it certainly was the sound of a young female singing. Elsa followed the young woman's voice and soon found who the voice belonged too: a young girl with bright red hair and oddly wearing a bathing suit made out of shells, sitting on a large rock that was quite far from the shore.
Elsa blinked in surprise. What was the girl doing out there? She could slip and easily drown! Elsa stepped closer to the water, allowing the waves to lick at her ice heels, her worry for the girl causing the water to immediately turn to frost.
"You--young girl out on the rock!" Elsa called out to the red head, hoping she would be able to hear her over the wind. "You should come to the shore at once! It isn't safe being out there!"

Elsa nodded once as Bashful bowed to her. “The pleasure is all mine, Bashful.” She said, giving him a kind smile. “So are you from around Arendelle?” She asked curiously.
Bashful shook his head ‘no’, while responding to Elsa, “N-No, My home is in Jollywood. I’m just visiting this new kingdom with my friends. We’re traveling to different kingdoms to trade goods with the rulers. Do you rule over Arendelle?”
"I see. I hope your trip so far has been pleasant then and that you are enjoying your stay here in Arendelle." Elsa replied, and then gave another nod to Bashful's question. "That I am. I'm the Queen of Arendelle. Is there anything that I can help you with?"
”Don’t mention it. I wish I could afford to own a club like this. But the only thing I can afford at the moment are just the drinks. It must be a lot of fun getting to own this place.”
❝ It’s work, but it does have its perks. I wouldn’t trade this job for any other. ❞
"That much is obvious. You'd gotta be crazy to give up a sweet job like this."

"Do I look like a SHIELD member or an Avenger?" A slight smirk tugged at the blonde’s lips. "Just your average do-gooder, I guess. But with ice powers. I live around here with my little sister. What about you?”
"Yes, the other Agents seem more modern and pretty ever since the HYDRA outbreak.” He chuckled slightly, grinning slightly as he looked around. “SHIELD agent, History teacher oh and a babysitter. Yeah, a lot.”
Elsa rolled her eyes, the slight smirk turning into a small smile. "Yeah, I've heard about the HYDRA outbreak. Must've been some party." She said sarcastically. Elsa rose an eyebrow. "What, SHIELD's not keeping you plenty busy?" Elsa joked.
She’s thoroughly confused, but decided to go along with it. ”Hats cannot speak, though.”
"Clearly they can! Listen to my words!"
Elsa let out a laugh and gently shook her head. "You aren't a hat, so of course you can speak!"
Elsa studied the Beast quietly as she tried to gather her thoughts about his answer. It wasn’t a yes, but it wasn’t a no, either. Not exactly reassuring, but still…he did not try and attack her. That was something, wasn’t it? If he were truly evil, he would have most likely killed her on the spot; not have a conversation with her. Right? “I see. Well—I am Queen Elsa of Arendelle. Do you…do you have a name?”
"…Beast," he replied simply. "Just Beast." Not his real name, not originally, but he preferred it by now. He hardly felt the title of ‘prince’ fit him well anymore. "Um… What’s yours?"
"Queen Elsa," Elsa said. This was so strange for her--talking to someone who was so inhuman looking, but was acting human. There was an awkward pause between the two as Elsa simply studied Beast, trying to read his movements, her guard still up just in case he were to strike her. She wasn't afraid anymore; but merely cautious. "So were you...born this way?" Elsa asked curiously, one eyebrow raising. "Or cursed?" After a moment of asking the question, Elsa blinked and pressed her lips together in a nervous line. "Beg pardon. You don't have to answer that if you don't want to."

"Your powers are certainly incredible, especially for someone as young as you. Are you able to control them?”
"…To an extent, yeah. I mean— There’s probably loads of stuff tha’ I don’t know yet. But I’m learning. Or, at least, I’m trying to. It takes time.”
Elsa nodded. She knew what that was like all too well. "I couldn't control my own powers for the longest of time. I just recently figured out how to control them, actually. Learning how to control your own gift can be hard. But you can do it, I believe. You mustn't be afraid of them."
Well, that was a relief. Sort of. "I apologize. We do not have dragons in Arendelle. Trolls, yes. Dragons? No.” Elsa eyed the dragon curiously. "You say it is a she? She…she does seem friendly. What is her name?”
When Stormfly was busy with doing something on her own, Astrid finally gave her a full attention.
❛ Trolls? I’ve never seen one.❜
She raised one of her eyebrow at her own statement, before giving the woman in front of her a smile.
❛ Stormfly, her name is Stormfly.❜
Elsa gave Stormfly a smile. "That's a lovely name for her." The queen looked back up at the other woman. "Trolls just look a lot like rocks, really. But talking rocks that can do magic." She said and lightly shrugged her shoulders.

"You wouldn’t happen to serve hot chocolate here, would you? After everything that has happened, I could certainly go for a cup of it.”
"We do!" With a smile, she ducked behind the counter, pouring the blonde a cup and adding whipped cream to the top. "Cinnamon," she said, setting both the mug and a shaker of cinnamon in front of her. "It’s kind of a thing around these parts." She offered the girl a smile. "You doing okay?"
"With cinnamon? I've never tried hot chocolate with cinnamon before," Elsa stated. "Thank you." She said, giving Ruby a smile and took a sip of the hot chocolate. It was quite good! The queen wiped some whip cream from her top lip. "And now I can see why it's a thing here. It's good! I'll have to tell Anna about this." Elsa chuckled and then glanced up at her. She nodded. "Oh, yes. Everything's fine, you needn't worry. It's just a relief now that everything is back to normal here. I just thought I'd have a cup of coco to celebrate."
"Uh—alright, then. Would you like some help with moving it?"
"No no. I’m pretty sure I can move it myself." She said, stepping up onto a chair to get the painting off the wall.
Elsa walked behind her sister, eyeing the chair nervously as Anna got on top of it. Her arms were raised in front of her, ready to catch the princess if she fell. "Anna...are you sure this is a good idea? At least let me help so you don't fall--or let me get one of the servants to do it for you."

Surprise crossed over the Queen’s pale features at the sight of the faery. What was it? Some sort of…butterfly? If it were, this was nothing like the other butterflies Elsa has seen. This creature had a human body with those wings!
"What sort of manner of insect are you?”
Marianne turned to face the woman, giving her a small smirk. It seemed a lot of people lately were asking her what she was; was it really that confusing?
”I’m a Fairy, particularly one with butterfly wings.”
Oh--it can talk? Elsa certainly wasn't expecting that! "A fairy." She repeated back in disbelief. "I think I'm sleeping and having a really weird dream. Or at least I hope so."

{ coldregality liked for a starter }
❝ Did you—— ❞
She gestured towards the frozen tree, wrapping her arms around her body tightly.
❝ Are you responsible for… that? ❞
Elsa nodded, her expression an unreadable mask as she studied the other girl's features. Her eyes narrowed slightly--was that just a hint of fear in the girl's expression? The queen couldn't help but to feel a pang of hurt and guilt for causing her to be afraid.
"Yes," Elsa answered, glancing at the frost on tree. "That is my....doing. I did not mean to frighten you--I wasn't aware that anyone was here." Elsa's lips pressed together as she watched the girl hug herself. Was that because of the cold? Or just because she was afraid? "I'm not going to hurt you." Elsa added softly.
Toothless hopes coldregality remembered his ( fish )!
The man creature emanated the smell of winter: of crisp, fresh snow and scintillating white as far as the eye could see. It aroused his memory of the first, exciting snowfall of the year.
A snowball fight with Hiccup. A moment of peace, of camaraderie —— and of victory as he won the battle by knocking his friend into the nearest bank of arctic fluff.
Suspicion ebbed within the dragon’s fiery chest.
How dangerous could the slender creature be if she reminded him of the fun he had with Hiccup?
Toothless cocked his wide head. Twined muscle remained supple and relaxed beneath the warm, charcoal scales even as the stout body drew itself upward in rapt attention.
A question twirled in the depths of the dragon’s reflective eyes:
… What’s she staring at ?
Cerulean hues had widened in surprise when Elsa had spotted the black dragon just a few feet away from her. The queen let out a gasp and stopped in her tracks. She had been visiting Berk--talking to the young chief of this tribe about possibly becoming allies and trading partners. Royal business and meetings and things such like that were expected--what Elsa wasn't expecting were the many dragons that Berk had and the Vikings here owned. She's only read dragons in books--but has never met one in real life. So of course Elsa had been startled when she first arrived here to this island. Though she has been here for awhile now, the queen still has not gotten used to them. She wondered if this one were friendly and who it belonged to. "Oh--um. Hello there," Elsa offered a slightly awkward wave to the dragon. "I didn't mean to disturb you." The queen wrung her hands nervously, wondering what to do. Should she try and turn back --or would the dragon attack her if she moved?
