A beautiful facade of the Ancuníns family, as seen by Baldur's Gate society.
Vampire Lord Astarion and his vampire child Tenebrae, pretending to be respected citizens and spouses since 1492
So I never introduced my fandom dolls properly, thought I gotta fix that. The setting is mostly postcanon, and both characters are daywalking vampires, the Ascendant and the Descendant, masquerading as respected citizens.
Astarion is the champion of Baldur's Gate; one of the four dukes, a member of the city council; the vampire slayer (yeah it was him who wiped the entire Szarr family, after all), the Elderbrain's slayer. Nobody knows he's also a psychotic Vampire Lord Ascendant who likes to watch his spawn murdering people. Aaaand yes, Astarion is a spouse of his own vampire child Tenebrae.
Tenebrae never resisted the Dark Urge. In fact it was Bhaal who rejected Tenebrae because in times when Tenebrae faced the god of murder, he had already been reborn as the Ascended Vampire's spawn, and he didn't belong to Bhaal any more. He did belong to Astarion.
To begin with, Tenebrae the Dark Urge couldn't resist basically anything involving sex and violence. So when a beautiful walking corpse stranger named Astarion promised him all kinds of carnal pleasures for a little help with slaying his former master and after a while with the ascending, Tenebrae agreed and agreed. He has become so much into the icy feel of Astarion's body and his undead whiff. Tenebrae is the Dark Urge that embraced the urge, yet betrayed Bhaal for eternal UNlife - which is also, naturally, eternal possibility to do murder.
Another thing y'all need to know about Tenebrae - he might resemble a noble drow but he's not one.
This male creature was made of pure dead flesh and blood of Bhaal's.
