This amazing piece of art was done by @whatachaos who does some seriously amazing work. In case you guys were wondering what Karter, Oliver, and Dante looked like.

Wanted: A full time live in nanny for a young girl, physically aged at 10. Must be able to cook, clean, and generally care for children.

Requirements: Someone with a open schedule, someone willing to live in, would prefer a past history in child care, can handle various forms of witchcraft, is able to handle and put out all kinds of fires, knows how to get blood out of clothing.

Benefits: Full healthcare, dental, and vision. $60,000 per year with possibilty of more. Paid maternity or paternity leave. Live in benefits.

Karter Gadner knew what most of the town thought of them. And when they were younger it may have bothered them. The stares. The looks. The thinly veiled disgust and whispered comments. And so for ears they pretended. Curled their hair long and wore dresses with knee high white socks. Attended church every Sunday and was an honor roll student.

But it didn't stop them. No matter how much they tried to conform to the towns expectations they still whispered.

And so they stopped caring. Dressed in what was loose and comfortable. Cut their hair short and stopped wearing make up to look more human. Now they smiled wide to flash their fangs and let their horns peak through their hair.

But it still stung when they couldn't even go to the corner store without getting a whispered "It's the abomination."

But they ignored it. Like they always did. If Oliver or Dante were there maybe they'd speak up. But not alone. The whispered continued.

"I thought they never survived?"

"Is it's skin pink?"

"Is it a girl or a boy?"

That last one pissed them off. You'd think in a town with creatures older than some governments that there would be more of a progressive attitude toward gender.

One of the onlookers, they had stopped keeping track of them, finally spoke up.

"Hey! You. What are you?"

Karter ignored them, gritting their teeth silently. After a moment they replied, "I'm a cambion."

They could hear the ear roll that followed, "No shit. But like, what gender are you?"

Karter refused to turn around, "It's none of your business," they replied curtly.

The voices were getting snide now, and they couldn't pretend to be looking at candy bars forever.

"It's not a big deal, god. But like. What's between your legs?"

At that something in Karter snapped. They turned to face the voice (male, high school, snide looking).

Their eyes flashed red as they smirked sharply, taking a bit of satisfaction at the fear tinging they boys scent when he glimpsed their fangs.

"An abomination apparently."

And they walked out, leaving the boys shaken in their wake.

The portrait of the founding families in the cities town hall are now under video surveillance.

Custodian Jakob Riles had this to say, "Damn new age creature kids defacing the portrait. Most of them had sticks up their asses but you know whose gotta clean that sh** up?"

So far the painting has been splashed in fake blood, spray painted, and even egged. The portrait depicting the founding families of the town has come under fire as the several of the families in said portrait have been revealed in many different illegal activities.

Deputy María Perez had this to say, "We understand the history behind the portrait and the how the contents may be questionable. While I can confirm nothing at the moment I assure you that the views and actions taken by the families in the painting are not the same as the views of the town and we may explore other decoration to show our town spirit.

Matriarch of the Romano family, one of the families pictured in the painting, Cassandra Romano stated that defacing the painting was "a violent and senseless act" and that the portrait "hangs to remind us of those who founded the town, no matter what may come out about them."

This view is opposed by Coldbridge High Student President Myra Patil who introduced the movement to "replace the antiquated, out dated painting of controversial people with something more representative of the life in Coldbridge," stating we shouldn't stand quietly by and silently support the illegal actions taken by the families represented by leaving the painting on display.

Deputy María Perez would like to gently remind the public that vandalism in all forms is illegal, no matter how "dope" it may look.

Miss Safiya Mesbah, manager of the Coldbridge Public Library, would like to remind everyone of the third annual Clean Coldbridge. Every participant who turns in one bag of litter from around the town will have the opportunity to clear at most three dollars of library fines. Every bag after that is an additional two dollars.

The participant who turns in the most litter wins a gift basket from the city with the following:

-A collection of local cheeses from Lipine farms.

-A signed copy of The History of Coldbridge by the late Elijah McDaniels.

-A collection of basic charms for luck and happiness provided by collector Lucinda Cardenas.

Miss Mesbah would like to remind everyone of the new rule list in light of last years incident:

1. All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

2. All trash must be collected from litter around town, shifters will be present to detect anyone lying and those caught cheating will be disqualified.

3. No magic is to be used during the event.

4. Sabotage of other participants is strictly off limits and anyone found doing so will be disqualified.

5. Fire drakes and any other fire creature are strongly discouraged from using their abilities near the collection pile.

6. Vampires are highly discouraged from bringing humans and insisting they are litter.

7. If any wish to search for litter in the Coldbridge forest, the participant must acknowledge they are responsible for taking the proper precautions to ensure their safety.

Powers: Witches are open sources of magic and their specialities are formed based on their upraising. They can learn new types of magic with extensive studying. Zanna focuses on a Jewish Mystic type of magic but is eager to study more.
