The golden rohkuh sat staring at the fire, as the wind blew harshly against the mouth of the cave threatening to put out the fire. Phonix sat by the fire, his wings flapping trying to keep that flame from blowing out.
"Phonix... I've gotta tell ya something little bud." The roh spoke out quietly, Phonix's wings stopped abruptly tilting his head at the large canine.
"That... night at my village," He huffed "My parent's death..."
Phonix got up slowly his head tilting his face covered by the expressions of worriedness. "Their deaths..." gulping quietly, his body shaking.
"It was.." He paused for a brief second.
The memory flashing before roh's eyes, the fire, that rohkuhs running, attacking each other. The golden roh sat hearing screams of pain echoing throughout the village as many innocent souls were killed off, other being pulled away thrown into slave carts. His body shaking in fear.
"XEON!" A voice cried out. A female one.
His mother, trapped under a building. Struggling to get free, her eyes full of fear starred into his.
"Xeon.. come, my child.." She coughed out loudly.
Xeon rushed over to his mother nudging her head gently, she began to smile.
"Xeon... You must do something for me.." Blood trickling down her jaw, "Put me out of my misery.." She whispered the end.
His eyes widen shaking his head tears ready to form in his eyes. "Please Xeon... this pain is too much for me to bear.." She paused her eyes squeezing for a brief moment "It will be alright, I promise..." She looked back up at Xeon, her smile still strong yet gentle "Just bite into my neck.. and pull very hard ok?" She whispered.
Lifting her neck as high as she could, bitting her tongue waiting for it. Xeon's mind was racing, follow his mother's wishes? Or leave her to die under the building. Growling quietly, he lowered his head towards her neck he grasped it in his jaw, he pulled bitting harder and harder feeling himself grow bigger his ascendance, he pulled back fully, the sick and muscle ripping blood cover his muzzle and paws.
He watches as he mother coughed up blood, it slowly creating a puddle under her. His eyes filled with tears, using his power he picked a small branch from a tree not to far he raising it over her head, her body shaking, eyes glued to the branch.
The sound of skin and bone breaking... It rang out as his mother's life body laid there, her mouth wide open, her neck pierced with the branch the branch turned into ash, due to the intense the flame was nearing him.
"YOU TRAITOR!" A strong voice rang out, turning quickly to see his own father standing over a rohkuh.
"Father... I.." His word caught in his throat, watching his father race towards him his ascendance form fazing through.
Xeon's eyes shut tightly only to heard something heavy drop, he dared to open his own eyes to see his fathers body leg and chest ripped.
The memory only faded, feeling the weight of the bird on his head his eyes blinked furiously tears streaming down his face, he glanced up seeing the bird had fallen asleep, he glanced out to see it was a day...
