Drumrolls 🥁😁 I've been meaning to create these since a long time 😍

Some of these don't exactly look like stained glass but I liked the designs, so I kept them🥲

Oh okay so I'm using clip studio paint right? There are these auto actions that you can either make or I think there are some you can download from the asset shop that can help you with the colors and textures however you will need to research the style itself with the lineart and recreate it to look right

So what I have been practicing lately is I will do the sketch and then I will do the lines with a special lasso tool that you can also download from the asset shop instead of a pen

The lasso tool is very simple it just fills automatically whatever space you draw in and it's actually how I neatly lined my pixel art work very quickly on aseprite so I got the idea to try it on clip too and I think the one I found is called "quick fill" and its specifically a lasso tool

It might be tricky at first to get the hang of it but dont worry you can go back in with a colorless transparent texture and erase whatever extra bits of line you don't need (anything can be an eraser in clip by doing this it's very handy to get the hang of and it helps keep lines consistent even outside of this lining method) just be patient and treat each line as it's own line one at a time instead of trying to so an entire shape at once

Like for instance if your lining hair to each side of the line one at a time on the shape and just have them touch it make a point

It makes linking things take ALOT longer but the end result is clean and you have complete control over the thickness of every single line

Then its really up to you to study the line weight and colors of whatever style your trying to mimic

On and remember to study the eyes because eye shape and structure can really make it break a whole piece.

OH one more thing try looking up "retro filters" or something under auto actions

There should be something similar there

Auto actions are a life saver for this if you can't find one you can make one but its tricky so try to just find one first otherwise your gonna have to really research your subject including the fuzzy grain of the picture

I'm mostly blind so I'm not sure how easy that is for someone with two eyes but for me that part is a nightmare

And if your studying colors I highly recommend using the last unicorn or gundam wing for reference simply because that's what I went for myself

There was also one comment of my art having no colors but when I checked again the comment was deleted :^(
