I Canât Be A Mom | Closed

âWell tell that to my stomach that is still churning and deciding on whether or not snuggling you is worth the âŚâ She stopped a moment and moved her hand from his back to her mouth. Nope. Still good. And a part of her was pleased actually. He didnât smell bad. In fact, thankfully, the way he smelled was a part of the reason she didnât feel the need to race off the bed and be sick again. Letting go of him so he could slip out of his jacket, she snuggled him the second it was on the floor.
Wincing when he mentioned trying to go cold turkey with Jordan. âOh that soundsâŚ.very not nice,â she admitted and winced. She could imagine how bad it would have gotten. She wondered how she would go without alcohol for so long and a part of her was not looking forward to the withdrawals and lack of further sleep. She didnât need more bullshit in her life.
Looking at him, Jessica let out a soft sound. Moving closer to him, she kissed his cheek and then his nose and then his lips. âYou needednât worry yourself endlessly,â she said to him softly. âI promise you it wonât end bad for everyone. Not if I can help it.â She promised him. âAnd I promise to wait until at least Jordan can talk to us for a while without having to leave,â she couldnât wait for Jordan to come home. Especially if what Jamison said was true and he wasnât due home for a quite a few months.
Jamison scooted back a little when Jessica looked like she was going to vomit. Quickly sitting up, he grabbed the small waste bin that had been under the night stand table. Holding it out to her. Looking at her for a moment to make sure that the sensation was fully gone before he set the bin back down on the floor. Carefully cuddling back up to Jessica.
âYeah, it was a rough couple of weeks, but I had to do it with him. It would have been rude if I just continued on while he couldnât.â Explaining while gently tracing little shapes into Jessicaâs back. His touch had been incredibly delicate. A piece of him viewed her as fragile now. Even when he knew that to be far from the truth. She could easily bend him into a pretzel if sheâd wanted to. But the worst Jessica had ever done was accidentally backhanding him when she hadnât known he was there.
âHmm, youâre surprisingly patient with that. Usually youâre the âI have to get it done nowâ type. Is this a new side to you, Jess?â Asking as he voided saying the word âmomâ so soon. Since she seemed sold at the moment on the idea of being a surrogate and not a mother to the baby in her stomach.
