Best part of my day was baking these maple syrup cupcakes with my Lue. She asked me to hold her and dance with her in between ingredient pouring and life felt so slow and extra wonderful for this 30 minutes. Im obsessed with these and even the frosting has maple syrup that came fresh from a Minnesota maple tree. Lue topped them with a dash of paprika and they came out perfectly sweet. She’s all tucked in bed now with a belly full of whole milk and maple cupcakes (and a dash of dinner too). 🍶
