If this project has more progress, this isn't like all the characters who survive or would appear in this hypothetical AU, just a few I wanted to highlight. The three from a faraway land are also alive and important for several characters not drawn.
Also some notes: Existing Zombies and Vampire are immune because they are already "infected." Anything "dead" also applies, like stand based zombies and ghosts.
Pillarmen are also immune, but there are no active pillarmen.
The effects it has on "Dhampirs" is unknown. It is assumed it still affects them because their vampire ancestry doesn't seem to effect them (the sons of Dio).
Silicon based organisms, specifically rock humans, react unusually to being zombified. Parts of their bodies crumble while rocky outgrowths form from on their skin.
Other vertebrates can be infected, as the chimera zombies prove that nonhumans zombies can exist.
