Randomly when passing him in the hall he’ll pull you into a secluded space for a quick hug. Against the general idea, I believe Leona would love the safety and blanket effect of your arms around him. You're pretty much a pillow to him (his favorite).
He loves the security he gets when your in his arms even if only for a few seconds, the fact you're here. He'd never admit that though, you'd have to shoot him in the foot for him to explain his actions! He'd hug you as if he hasn't for days and let the feeling flow for a mere four seconds before parting and waving you goodbye nonchalantly (loser) heading to his class. He does this in public spaces too, he would randomly hug you from behind or such before letting go. Its never long enough to cause an issue or pause in his schedule, buts its long enough to leave a lingering feeling on your body.

Ruggie adores randomly planting kisses on you. Quick pecks of his lips against your skin, or capturing your own lips with his. Each one left leaving love like the effect of a needle. He had no shame with it either, most of the time it will be in the halls or in the open when he tracks you in the sea of people, (he could always find you in an ocean of faces) and leave a feathered kiss with care before leaving carrying on his day.
Almost all are impulsive ones, when he wants a kiss he will receive one no matter how currently far you are from him. His favorite is kisses because he feels the most from you. He can kiss you anywhere, he's greedy like that!

It’s a gentle touch, not one above the feeling of feathers falling into your hand. His thumb lightly tracing your palm in a relaxed manner. In most cases he holds your hand before he was going to fall asleep. A feeling of safety from your warmth knowing you’re right beside him, so he’ll randomly slip your hand in his. He adores simple things like this, it doesn't necessarily have to be long, even a small brush of the hand through a crowd will leave him pleased and give him motivation to carry on. Your warmth syncing with his as the skin makes contact, he doesn't mind holding it for long either. He'd hold your hand an entire day if you let him. He loves the feeling of yours slipped in with his.

Leona was clingy and he didn't hide that, saw no point in it as you had seen his worst and his best. His face nuzzled into your neck as he breathed in your scent, dazed and half-asleep, while you held him close. His tail swayed behind him nonstop, though he stubbornly pretended not to notice.
For once, the usually proud prince seemed content to simply exist in the quiet. The afternoon sunlight spilled through the curtains, bathing the room in gold.
Leona's ears flicked occasionally at distant sounds outside, but he made no move to get up. Every time you shifted even slightly, his arms tightened around you for a second before relaxing again."

"Hm." The response was little more than a grumble. A moment later, his head settled more comfortably against your shoulder. Anyone else would have been shocked to see him like this.
The fearsome dorm leader who commanded respect with a glance was currently acting more like an oversized house cat than a prince. Not that Leona cared. His tail betrayed him completely, sweeping lazily across the bed.
"You know your tail is giving you away, right?" you teased. Immediately, the tail froze. "Dunno what you're talking about."
"Sure." A low rumble vibrated in his chest, not quite a laugh, not quite a growl. He buried his face further into your shoulder in a futile attempt to hide his expression.
The silence that followed was comfortable. Leona rarely admitted how much he enjoyed moments like these. There were no expectations, no responsibilities, no people demanding things from him. Just the steady sound of your breathing and the warmth of your presence beside him. Above him. Beneath him.
As long as your skin was touching his, he was fine with it.
His eyes drifted shut. "If anyone comes looking for me," he mumbled, already halfway asleep, "tell them to go away."
"You tell them, I'm going to sleep."
"Too much work." You rolled your eyes. A few seconds passed. Then a few more. Eventually, his breathing evened out completely.
The prince of Sunset Savanna had finally fallen asleep, tail twitching every so often despite his earlier denial. And even in sleep, one arm remained loosely wrapped around you, as though some instinct refused to let him drift too far away.
For someone who insisted he wasn't affectionate - who was afraid to show it, Leona certainly was very honest what he thought and felt through his actions.

Thinking about time loop au in twst but with more of a fun twist.
You who became used to the time loop over the many occurrences.
The world would always reset and it wouldn’t be a certain time or date. Sometimes it would reset after a few years and other times a decades later.
At one point, you kind of gave up trying to figure out when the reset was (though, never be said that you gave up trying to break it either, sometimes you just took a break from trying to figure it out and enjoyed your life—well, lives).
The starting point of the reset wasn’t the same either, initially it was during the nrc ceremony but then after a few times it switched to other places and even times-hundreds of years in the past and even the future.
It was an…experience.
At one point, you ended up with a magical ID that stayed with you. Figures that some things magic doesn’t change.
It was funny to see your face in your ID with the age extending into the hundreds.
When you took odd jobs or picked certain residences to stay at, no one could hide their shock but the ID couldn’t be faked either.
Most shrugged you off as being fae or another being not known well in the human realm.
You especially had fun seeing the fae’s reactions, especially since you were older than them by centuries.
Your magical ID was even recognized by the many fae lands (you had a lot of time to visit them in your adventures)
As for the next time loop reset or goal? Well, you’re playing it by ear until you figure you what you want to do next.

Kalim has feelings for you as well! How in the world would Jamil handle this? Personally I think the answer is dependent on whether it’s pre or post overblot. Ok so I mentioned before that I had finished that thing last night and now I am posting it just like I said I would. The formatting might be jank, but that's only because I have to post it from desktop, so sorry about that in advance!
Honestly I... don't quite know what all I should and should not add in terms of content warnings, but bullying, (implied) ableism/fatphobia (very briefly), (implied) SA/Sexual Harassment, and descriptions of murder/gore are probably the biggest ones in here, and I think it covers things pretty well?
Anyways @gremlin-box and @venaue I know both of you guys expressed interest in seeing this so I will tag you both here?
Twiddles my thumbs bc I'm lowkey nervy abt sharing this but also... my little lion guy.
One such exception was that Izem never, ever allowed harm to come to innocent people. Man or woman, child or adult, if you had been wrongfully dragged into a situation, Izem would certainly stand up on your behalf.
Izem was never the type to go out of his way to get into fights. Despite what his demeanor might have one believe, he was a surprisingly docile child, and rarely (if ever) involved himself in any kind of conflict.
But like with all things, there were exceptions to this trait of his.

"Hey! Leave him alone," A young(er) Izem protested, as a rather chubby child his age was being pushed around and teased by a group of older kids from the local high school. "He ain't done nothin to ya, so leave him be!"
The ten year-old stared with a sharp anger that made his golden eyes blaze like a flame. The teenagers groaned, exchanging glances of panic and confusion - how had they been bested by such a runt of a child? There was no way he should have been able to handle them so quickly; no way they should have gotten injured as badly as they did as quickly as they had.
The oldest teen in the group, presumably the leader of the squadron of bullies, scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Oh no, boys! Pudgy here has back-up… whatever are we gonna do?" He laughed, waving a dismissive hand as another one of the teens shoved their victim to the ground.
The boy's green eyes brimmed with tears as he reached for a cane that had been strewn a short ways away from him. His legs trembled as he tried pushing himself up before one of the older bullies shoved him back down. Izem watched as the teen yanked a chunk of the poor boy's stark white hair, silently seething with a growing rage.
"The Hell is a pipsqueak like you gonna do about it anyways?" The lead taunted, crouching down so that he could become eye-level with Izem. "Poor little kitty gonna call for his mommy?"
Izem did not blink at the older kid's jeers, no. His mother would certainly have been far more threatening than he was, but there was no need to bring her into this. Not when Izem could handle it himself.
"Hey guys, check it out! Poor little baby here can't even back up his own words-" The leader began, before a sharp 'thud' rang out, followed by a sickening crunch. The leader stumbled backwards, blood beginning to run down the hand that had flown up to his face in response to the impact. "Shit- you little- guys! Get over here!"
Izem quickly found himself thrown to the ground, one of the other teens pinning him down as they launched a blow. He managed to snag his assailant's arm, though, latching down with his jaw at full force. He brought up his knee between the guy's legs, which forced the attacker off of him, leaving the fellow writhing in pain.
The last teen quickly launched himself forward, with Izem dashing beneath the arm that flew at him, connecting a swift kick to the other teen's knees and twisting the arm with a 'snap'.
After the incident, Izem had made a name for himself as a local "bully-buster". Wherever he showed up, those with ill intentions would scatter, fearful of enacting the wrath of the young beastman. It did not stop these sorts of power imbalances from rearing their ugly face, of course, but it curbed them - created a reason for them to stop becoming so strong. If Izem were to describe it in his own words… it was probably the closest thing to a perfect peace that he had seen for a good couple of months, at least compared to the constant infighting between the families in the upper class.
"Sevens, what are they feeding this kid…?" One of the teens asked, before the leader finally regained his composure.
"You little-" He lunged for Izem, who nimbly sidestepped the clumsy move and returned the gesture with another swing of his own.
One 'thump' later, and the leader of the group was easily down for the count, his friends quickly scrambling to drag him away with muttered apologies and prayers. He would have to thank his mother later for the training she had given him the last few years.
Izem blinked a few times as the world finally settled back into place. As it stopped pounding around him, he calmly walked over and picked up the other boy's cane. He turned slowly, offering it out with an innocent air that had seemingly been regained. There was none of the ferocity that had just been demonstrated, instead being replaced with a gentle meekness that was evident in how his hands trembled ever so slightly with the blood that ran between his fingers.
"This yours?" He asked, and the other boy nodded, rather frantically taking it back. "I hope those guys didn't hurt you too bad… they're always messing around with the other kids in this neighborhood. Here, let me walk you back home so they don't get any other ideas.

Until the March family came into town.
The elders would tell him to not worry about it, that one day the Marches would come in, complete their power trip, and fade into obscurity and mystery like the other ruling families had. He just needed to wait a few years and then everything would be fine!
It started off slow. Some of the more poor families getting evicted, entire buildings being paved down in their absence to build businesses. People starting to close up shop earlier and earlier. People being kicked out for legal offenses. As things progressed, and the "less important" members of the community began to vanish, the behaviors began to ramp up. People began to be affected in much more visible ways - a struggling father getting fired for seemingly nothing, a young woman disappearing for weeks and coming back with mysterious cuts and bruises, a civilian made into a martyr as his blood painted the streets.
Seeing the behavior of the father, Geoffery, was bad enough. His wife, Elizabeta, had her fair share of crimes as well.
But the heir, Jubal? His behavior was by far the worst. Izem had lost count of how many women had reported unsavory encounters with the man, and even some of the more brutish bullies he had encountered in the past were not capable of fighting back against the young man's tyranny. It became a sad, undeniable truth that anyone who dared speak up against Jubal March would find themselves beaten and abandoned in an alley by his lackeys, were they not personally face-to-face with his father's double barrel shotgun.
Worst of all, the guy had magic on top of all that power. There was never any chance for a fair fight with Jubal March, and this had become a well-established fact throughout the town rather quickly.
The March family would always win in the end.
Sevens, it pissed him off. How could such an unfair dynamic be allowed to exist?
Though how soon it happened would become a nauseating fact.
...Right?
But he didn't want to wait a few years. The playground had become a danger zone, with spells firing left and right at the children who sought to play. Multiple women had come back, bearing children that they had no desire to have, retreating into hiding out of fear of retaliation. His own family had bore countless scars and bruises already by even thinking that what was happening was wrong. No, he couldn't stomach the thought of waiting a few years. Change had to happen soon.

"Stupid bitch- how dare you talk back t' me like that?" A loud slap echoed in the distance, followed by the sound of sobbing.
One evening, Izem had left school. His class had stayed inside again today. It was hard not to, not when golden fire rained down from the sky and magical wheels blazed dangerously close to the gates spewing toxic exhaust.
"To show off my devotion, I grant this shield. For the King"
"Mister Jubal, she's only a child, how could you-"
"Her mom isn't gonna teach her to respect authority, so someone around here has to."
Izem crept closer, hiding amongst the shrubs and bushes to observe, only for his eyes to widen.
A woman whom he recognized as a local babysitter who often took care of his siblings was wrapped around a small, sobbing figure. The flattened ears and flicking tail cued him in immediately. His sister, Aswa.
"And speaking of talking back," Jubal continued, stepping closer to the woman, tapping a baton with a glittering magestone in his hands. "Who the Hell raised you to question me? You should know better than anyone what I can do to you, you stupid-"
Izem didn't hear the rest of Jubal's words as the baton struck the young woman, as his sister cried even louder in her arms.
"Fuckin' whores," He scoffed, a spell beginning to charge at the tip of his baton. "I should teach both of you what happens when you disobey me!"
Izem's ears pressed hard against his head, a pit forming in his gut. The spell was strong, for sure. Even at a distance he could feel the energy pulsing from the growing embers, something that far surpassed anything he could do.
Still - that was his family in danger. Knots in his stomach or not, he couldn't idly stand by and watch them get harmed - Sevens, especially not Aswa, his baby sister, his pride and joy as a big brother.
"My loyalty is pledged to few…" His voice rumbled, the words not quite his own as he stepped out from the foliage. Magic radiated around him in brilliant sparks. "No man nor beast shall sway this vow…"
Jubal turned around curiously, a morbid smile crossing his face.
"Ah… a little eavesdropper coming in to play the savior?" He laughed. "Does no one here teach their fuckin' brats what it means when I'm in town, or do I just gotta do everything myself!? Sevens, I oughta just make a display outta you two and then deal with this punk."

"And I don't think a change of plans will even be required. I can even make a whole show out of it if I wanted to."
Firing off the spell, Jubal watched eagerly as the two girls he stood over cowered in terror, only for his eyes to widen in confusion as the spell curved, hurtling towards the whelp that had emerged from the bushes, connecting full force as it sent the kid flying. The younger of the two girls screamed in horror - her brother, he assumed.
Good. Maybe she'd learn to keep that mouth of hers shut in the future to avoid a similar fate.
"Hm? What a neat little party trick," Jubal scoffed, turning around and approaching the brat. "A shame it went to waste like that. I can easily just fire another."
He grabbed the larger girl's hand, yanking her off of the ground and holding his baton to her chest. She writhed against his grip to no avail, the fear in her eyes shining beautifully to him as he pulled her collar down with the baton.
His vision went red as he made contact.
Izem's skin burned with the impact of the fire, the blisters already beginning to form as he tried to push himself up. Even just the blast would have been bad enough, with the wind being completely knocked out of him as he flew back, but no. The reddening skin and itching aches that started crawling across his entire body just had to get a say in.
He didn't have long to think about it, though, as he jumped out as another spell was fired, once again hurtling directly towards him.
It was sharp, this time. Like a knife stabbing him through the chest. He could almost even imagine the blood beginning to pool underneath his shirt with the pain, twisting through him straight to his core.
But he wasn't about to let the March heir have his way. No, not now. Not ever again.
He lunged out, tackling the older man to the ground.

His only moment of relief was when exhaustion finally took over his body and took awareness from him.
A scream for help was what finally brought Izem back to his senses. The man that was underneath him was completely unrecognizable. What hadn't been caved from being smashed against the pavement had been doused in blood or shattered beyond repair. There was no longer any gleeful malice or power in the eyes that stared up at him, only glassy, lifeless pupils that had shrunk into singularities with terror. The only indication of an identity at that point was a signet ring with the initials "J.M." engraved on the band.
Sevens, there was so much blood. Izem was sure he was practically drowning in the stuff as his heart thrummed in his chest - a messy, uneven drum beat that was deafening. Patches of hair and fur, much of which Izem couldn't even tell who it belonged to at this point, littered the ground at his feet.
"B-big brother?" A soft voice called out to him, only to be swiftly silenced by another.
"Stay back from him, Aswa! We- we have to leave right now. Run the other way!"
Izem had apparently never realized before just how terrifying it was to have eyes on him from every angle.
"Holy shit… is that-"
"Y-you killed him! Oh Sevens, Oh stars above… What are we going to do?! When- When he finds out about this…"
"W-wait!" Izem cried out as he felt himself get pushed to the ground. "Wait- you don't understand!"
"Get him out of here, before he hurts someone else!"
"To think… a-and a noble's son, no less!"
The eyes of the witnesses that now surrounded him burned hotter than the flames that had blistered him before. They stared, hard, drilling deep into the innermost parts of his body and soul, judging him for something that they had only caught one brief glimpse of. Why did they look at him with such malice, such fear? He was only doing what he thought was right in the moment, nothing more, nothing less.

They had gotten out lucky, by some miraculous twist of fate. Exile was what faced Izem's family for his crimes, rather than a life for a life. The courts took pity on the twelve year-old that had been driven to such violence, but not much. The family had to pack up and leave, the perpetual fear of the March family breathing down their necks being a constant reminder of who was truly pulling the strings.
"Mrs. Usiku… Yer real lucky, ya know… if it weren't for the fact that the Kingscholars would have my head for it, I would've blasted yer whole family into the ground right now for what yer son did. Just remember that we will have our way eventually."
Izem himself could not stay at home, either. He was not included in the move, and was instead sent to the opposite end of the Savannah.
He just wished that maybe he would receive a letter for once. Even if his parents had refused to look his way ever since he came home that night…
A 'boarding school for troubled youths', they had said, but it was more like a prison than anything. The kids couldn't go beyond their dictated borders and would work day and night, training to correct whatever 'behaviors' had sent them there in the first place. They would spend weeks abroad, 'camping' with one another under the guise of rehabilitation, with nothing more than the clothes on their back and their bags of belongings.
At least the company of his roommate, a wildebeest beastman a year younger than him, provided some solace from the constant strain of it all… and at least he was far away from his home. Far from the prying eyes of the other townsfolk that had followed him ever since he dared to stand up for someone dear to him. There was no judgment from his peers here, only understanding.

And say yes he did.
The strange envelope that had arrived in the mail one evening certainly took Izem by surprise. But even more surprising was the dark wax seal with a raven on it.
Someone had taken note of his magical abilities, which he had been honing ever since he set foot at this accursed school. He would need to do nothing more than apply, and a carriage would be sent to bring him forth before a powerful mage who promised that he could become greater than he could imagine.
All he had to do was send a reply. Then he could do the work to fix what he ruined. Right?
The carriage would be a new start for him. He could finally escape the eyes of the March family for a few years. Find a place where he could start over anew. Salvation might finally be attained, should he just say yes to the invitation.

When he awoke in that strange coffin and made his way through the motions, it was almost funny how his roommate greeted him with a smile and the most piercing green eyes he had ever seen.
"Isn't it funny?" The boy asked, his cane clacking against the ground with each step back to the dorm. "How life gives us second chances like this?"
