Hi Codi! I have a few questions for ya! What are staple materials/items for letter-writing beginners? Any stationary that you suggest? Where do you typically shop for your stuff? And then, how did you become so well-spoken? (I only ask because I desire to carry myself the way you do. I highly admire you). I try to read more in hopes of expanding my vocabulary and work on my grammar.
Man, I really need to turn on notifications! Sorry if you sent this forever ago. đź’›
As for letter-writing, all you will need is envelopes, paper, your favorite pen, and to pick out some stamps that you really enjoy! I usually purchase materials from a local shop here in California where I can choose my envelopes and paper and mix and match them. (You can also source handmade paper from Etsy or view websites like Paper Source to find something you may like. My friend V. owns a beautiful shop called Paper&Type.) And then I choose stamps typically by purchasing them directly from USPS or off of Amazon, as they have some more unique, fun options! For me, because I enjoy the outdoors so much, I am usually looking for National Park stamps or something of the like. I think one of the most wonderful parts is choosing materials that you enjoy—then you’ll inevitably find joy in your time writing, and your letters will always be a unique reflection of you + your heart!
P.S. That’s so very sweet of you. Thank you for your kind words! I assure you, I am not as well-spoken in person, but I spent a lot of time growing up writing and journaling, and I think that may have helped. My husband is the most well-spoken person I’ve ever met, and for him, reading (especially older literature) has done him wonders. I wish you the best in your studies!
