Sock was born as the princess of this religious cult (his parents, Ivor and Magdelene, are the king and queen gasps) and the cult is super Christain and transphobic AND its fucking ABELIST. everyone there is magic and their power is fueled by emotions.

Sock is autistic, very berry autistic, which means he has big emotions and big magicks. His parents don't fwt because he needs to be a Perfect Princess so they get him a bunch of tutors to try and abuse the tism outta him (it doesn't work). then his parents freak the heck out because how will he ever get a prim and proper husband so they also let men grape and sa the fuck outta him (poor bean sighs)

eventually though they do marry him off to some dude named Windex (i thought the name was funny) and everybody immediately forgets about them bc once you get engaged to someone you can't interact with them till you're adults

Sock tries to transition into a dude but everyone is just mean to him, sighs sadly, but he does date this girl named Archer who sees him as a dude and she's great we love Archer she's the only person who's nice to him ever, eventually they break up because she's lesbian and he's gay but now they're Best Friends

also Sock's dad yells at him a lot and like, verbal abuse, and acts like he's aboutta hit him but doesn't (he did hit him once which is why this works so well)

then Sock dates this gender non-conforming dude named Haze who turns out to be a transphobic prick who only ever sees Sock as a woman and thinks he's insane for saying he's a guy and for being autstic and for his eating habits

what are his eating habits, you ask? allow me to illuminate!

Sock is lack toes and toddler ants; but of course nobody ever thought to tell him this, so he grew up under the assumption that eating food fucked up his digestive system. so he kinda tried to do that as little as possible. one day though Archer was like "hey twin that's bad" so Sock started eating food again

his mom thought he had randomly started gainig weight though (restrictive eating had been a habit his whole life so he never really gained weight normally...) and yelled at him so then he started restricting again...but he'd get so hungry so he'd eat All the Food and then he'd throw up ^^

something else that influenced restrictive eating was fasting, something practiced in religions where one doesnt eat for a certain period of time in order to strengthen their spiritual connection...Sock used this an an excuse not to eat a lot

anyway!!!!!!

Haze SAs Sock and he runs away but then Haze gets ppl to track him down ,, a buncha shit happens that i don't rlly remember ,, and Haze punches Sock in the eyeball and tells everyone that Sock is crazy

so they lock their princess in a place called Eden where she can't hurt anyone (or herself)

Eden is the place where "crazy people" go...neurodivergent ppl , ppl with mental disorders ,, lgbtq ppl ,, the only reason Sock stayed outta here so long was cause he's royalty. Eden's goal is to strip you of your magical abilities...which, as previously stated, are fueled by emotion. So Eden really just bullies you into bottling up Everything All The Time

Sock manages to make a friend though! Her name is uhh Cass I think ,, she's a Rebel who doesn't listen to anyone because rules are dumb ,, and for a while she convinces Sock to go along with her

but Sock is a sweet precious little bean who is so tired of abuse ,, so he ends up just doing as he's told ,, which makes Cass rlly mad and she stops being friends with him and eventually the faculty at Eden kills her and Sock never knows heh

also during his time at Eden , a bunch of scientists are performing vivisections on him to figure out What Is Wrong With Him , they even swap one of his eyes for a fake one to study it and they poke around at his brain and his insides and it's great

eventually Sock is kinda done with all this , so he's thinking maybe he'll just like.,..,...oopsie his shelf.,....,.,but then he doesn't because a Guy shows up

the Guy doesn't have a name but everyone calls him Boss, he runs a group of ppl who assassinate gods (aka , the guys with magic , aka what Sock is) and he thinks Sock's expertise in that field and magic powers could be of some use to him , and Sock agrees because he's a simp for Boss

during his time as an assassin , he meets a guy named Shoe ! (his actual name is Shawn but that's ,, boring ,,) Shoe takes Sock under his wing and then they do a yaoi mmmm ,, Sock isn't a very good assassin though and he can't use his powers because Eden sunk its claws into him deep

then this whole thing goes down where Sock fulfills some prophecy (because I can be as self-indulgent as I want) where basically autism is actually super rare in gods and all the autistic gods have Super Rad Magic because of all thems emotions and so Sock does some self-discovery and is able to use his powers again!!

then he and Shoe get engaged wowie!!

the day of their wedding , Sock goes to check on Shoe , and blood gore Shoe slumped over , a note taped to a nightstand saying he was going on one last mission , he'd be back soon.......well clearly that mission hadn't gone so well (what ACTUALLY happened is Boss thought this little relationship was negatively impacting Sock's abillity to assassinate ppl ,, so they Took Care Of the problem ,,) and now Sock is SAD and he's highkey worse at the whole assassin thing than he was before ,, so Boss connects the dots....partner = Sock doesn't suck so bad, so ig Sock just needs a new partner....lucky for Boss...

so Boss starts dating Sock and it's just kinda like Hey Siri Define Abusive Relationship ,, Boss will occasionally give Sock affection and maybe flirt with him a little bit but usually they just ignore Sock ,, but they do give him enough affection to keep him where they want him (also they Beat Him Up in an attempt to make him not suck at everything)

eventually they decide Sock is a lost cause and they're gonna kill him , so they literally like rip his heart out , but Sock's magic compensates for that and makes him a nice little artificial heart and he escapes to another dimension and Boss doesn't really care where Sock is as long as he's gone so that's fine by them

now Sock is back to not rlly being able to use his magic , bc its busy being his heart , but sometimes if he gets real emotional a blast of magic will come outta him and he might have a heart attack

as soon as he arrives in this new dimension he gets planted into the Mindscape of someone named Xylo , who's stuck on one end of the universe being sad because xyr best friend is far away...so Sock cheers xem up and they QPR heheh......

anyway when Xylo's best friend shows up Xylo starts dying for Unrelated Plot Reasons and Xylo is stuck in the mindscape ,, so Sock sacrifices himself so Xylo has a chance to say goodbye to xyr best friend ,, because Sock didn't have that chance with Shoe

after Sock and Xylo die though some Unrelated Plot Shit goes down and they're both alive and no longer in the mindscape!!

then they join this god rebellion and Sock falls for this emo bitch named X and they QPR.,.,..ehe.,......,.but then Xylo gets drugged (Unrelated Plot) by some super strong hallucinogen and stabs Sock ,, its super sad because X doesn't get to say goodbye and the last words he said to Sock were "see you soon"

then Sock's ghost goes and becomes God. not a god. God. and he just chills out and tries not to fuck everything up for a bit until some new ghost comes to replace him (this is a system that very much makes sense it'd just take a bit to explain)

then his ghost wants to go find X and Xylo, so he goes and finds Xylo and they hang out for a bit and Xylo tells him that X is in another dimension (X's home dimension) and Sock wants to go there .. the only problem is his ghost form is all unstable and he'd die within one day , he goes anyway though and he sees X and they hang out and X gets a chance to say goodbye and then Sock dies for realzies
