Morgan: That's great babe, I can't wait.

Kane: Same here. My nerves are already on edge about meeting her.

Morgan: What's her name? What kind of stuff does she like? Did Carla show you any photo's of her?

Kane: Her name is Olivia, she's 13. Carla says she does ballet like her. She did give me a few photo's. She's so beautiful babe.

Morgan: Of course she's beautiful, she has you for a father after all.

Kane: Is that your way of telling me I'm beautiful? haha

Morgan: Well you're beautiful to me.

Kane: You're beautiful too babe.

Morgan: What did she have to say about Vivienne?

Kane: That woman is evil through and through. She tried to blackmail Carla, telling her if she didn't help get back at me and pay her, she would tell her father that I'm Olivia's dad.

Morgan: OMG Kane, that's horrible.

Kane: I just wish Keaton would wake up and see what that woman really is.

Morgan: Let's not worry about that now babe, just focus on meeting your daughter.

Kane: You're right babe, can't help it though. Keaton was like a brother before her.

Morgan: I know, and she will get what's coming to her eventually. But right now it's about you meeting Olivia.

Kane: You always know how to make me feel calm. I love you babe.

Morgan: Love you more.

Kane: You are babe, and I don't know what I would do without you.

Morgan: Remember it's just coffee so you two can talk over everything.

Kane: I know, I just wish I hadn't missed out on so much of my daughter's life.

Morgan: Don't worry about that now, just focus on what the future holds for all of us.

Carla: Hi Kane, thanks for meeting with me. It's been a long time.

Kane: Hi Carla, and yeah it's been a while.

Carla: Before you say anything else, I just want to tell you how sorry I am for not saying anything back then. It's just we were both so messed up back then and honestly I didn't want to face the fact that I was pregnant. You were already long gone by the time I faced the hard cold truth I was pregnant.

Kane: All I want to know is why did you go to Vivienne Dubois of all people, and not contact me directly?

Carla: Vivienne contacted me one day out of the blue and offered to help me get in touch with you. I don't know how she found out that you were the father of my daughter.

Kane: Were you ever gonna tell me I had a daughter? Don't you think I had a right to know?

Carla: I was eventually, but Vivienne told me you were still living the same lifestyle that I gave up, and that you had been in prison, so I just figured you never changed. I didn't want Olivia around that.

Kane: Olivia, that's our daughter's name?

Carla: It is. She's an amazing little girl. Kane I'm really sorry I believed everything Vivienne told me.

Kane: It's water under the bridge. I just wish you would have come to me.

Carla: I wish I had to Kane, believe me. Eventually I found out all Vivienne was after was money. If it wasn't from me it was gonna be from you.

Kane: Vivienne has had it out for me ever since I found out that she was stealing from us among other things. Unfortunately she got her claws into a friend who's a band member and he wouldn't listen to me, so I left the band. She's hated me ever since.

Carla: I'm sorry that happened, maybe if I said something about what she tried to do to me that would help get her out of your friends life.

Kane: Oh she'll get what's coming eventually. But what I'd like to know, cause for the life of me I can't remember us ever being anything more than friends let alone sleeping together.

Carla: I'm not surprised you don't remember, it took me a while to remember that it was you I had been with. Which was hard for me to wrap my head around, cause I knew you were gay and weren't attracted to women, and that we were friends.

Kane: So then how did we....end up together?

Carla: To be honest, from what I remember you said you wanted to try an experiment.

Kane: An experiment?

Carla: Yes...you wanted to know what it felt like to be with a women, and well I was more than willing to let you experiment with me. You were a friend, but I did have a major crush on you Kane. After you said you would never do that again, and laughed.

Kane: I was an ass wasn't I?

Carla: You were a bit of an ass, it did hurt my feelings when you laughed. But I got over it, and I have Olivia.

Kane: Can you tell me about her?

Carla: She's an amazing and beautiful girl. She loves to sing, just like you, and she's a very talented ballet dancer. She's stubborn and speaks her mind.

Kane: She sounds a lot like you, the way you were back then. I'd really like to get to know her if you let me. I won't push, but just so you know I'll contribute to her future in anyway I can.

Carla: I would love for you to know your daughter Kane. Actually Olivia knows that we moved here to Willow Creek so that she could meet her father.

Kane: Does she know I'm her father?

Carla: She does, I have a photo of the two of us together and she asked me one day who was in the photo with me. I told her it was her father and that maybe one day she would get to meet you.

Kane: I'm really glad you wanted to meet with me Carla.

Carla: So am I Kane. I'll Give you a call and we can set up a date for you to meet Olivia.

Kane: I'd like that. I'd also love for Olivia and you to meet Morgan my husband and twins Kailee and Knox, and in a few months my triplets.

Carla: Triplets? Wow....that would be really nice Kane, I look forward to it.

Kane: I'll talk to you soon Carla.

Carla: Ok Kane, talk soon. Bye.

Kane: She's want's to meet Friday afternoon for coffee, just the two of us.

Morgan: That sounds promising if it's just the two of you.

Kane: Yeah I think so to.

Morgan: Everything will work out, I can feel it.

Kane: You're always so optimistic babe.

Morgan: Someone has to be, haha.

Kane: Have I told you today how much I love you.

Morgan: Hmmm, I don't believe you have.

Kane: Well let me show you how much I love you then.

Morgan: As much as I would like that hun, we have something else we have to do.

Kane: What's more important than me showing you how much I love you?

Morgan: Putting together the cribs that were delivered today. After that you can show me how much you love me all night long.

Melisa: OMG Bri....how was last night?

Briana: It was amazing Mel.

Briana: We got back to his place, and watched a movie first.

Melisa: Ok, then what? Was he pushy? If Alton hurt you....

Briana: No he wasn't pushy, and he didn't hurt me Mel.

Briana: He was amazing Mel, thoughtful, gentle, kept asking me if I was ok.

Alton: I think Bri and I are gonna head back to my place to watch a movie.

Kane: Now I guess we wait. My lawyer is gonna contact her and try to find out what she wants.

Morgan: Who is she?

Kane: Her name's Carla Davis. Back when I knew her we were both in a really bad place, and did pretty much any drug we could get our hands on. It was a real dark time for me babe. I still don't remember how she got pregnant with my child though.

Morgan: I'm sure we'll find out at some point, and that's if her child is even yours.

Kane: Yeah I guess your right babe. I just can't wait for this to be done with, so I can know the truth. And what exactly Vivienne had to do with all this.

Morgan: Are you going to tell Keaton about Vivienne when you find out her part in all this?

Kane: I should, it's just he's still pretty upset with me for leaving Sapphire Skies. They still haven't found a lead singer yet. I don't even know if he'd believe me anyway.

Morgan: Well let's just wait to hear back from your lawyer and take it from there. I'm sure everything will work out in the end.

Kane: I hope so babe, I really hope so.

Kane: I really think we should have hired a private investigator first before coming here.

Morgan: Let's find out what the lawyer has to say first, then we can take if from there ok.

Kane: Yeah ok, you're right. I'm just overthinking everything.

Morgan: Just relax babe.

Kane: What if this kid is actually mine, I don't have any right to see her?

Morgan: Kane listen to me, we don't know anything yet. Please get out of your head. You're only stressing yourself.

Kane: I know, but I can't help it.

Morgan: Everything will turn out fine.

Kane: I really hope you're right babe.

Morgan: I am, so stop worrying.

Receptionist: Mr. Lawler, Mr. Howe will see you now. Follow me please.

Mr. Howe: Good to see you Kane, it's been quite awhile.

Kane: Good to see you too Edward.

Mr. Howe: So what can I do for you boys today? Your message wasn't very clear.

Kane: Well I want to know how I can go about getting a paternity test done.

Mr. Howe: Ok, that's right to the point. Let's have a seat and you can explain everything.

Kane: So that's everything Edward. I'd really like to know if I have another child, and what I need to do after that.

Mr. Howe: Ok, the first thing we have to do is find out who this women is and what she wants. I'll give the private investigator I use a call to find out what he can about her.

Kane: And after that?

Mr. Howe: After that, we get a paternity test done to find out if this child is yours. Until then there is not much we can do. I'll give you a call when I get all the information I need to continue.

Morgan: I think that went well.

Kane: It did babe, hopefully it won't take too long.

Morgan: Let's go pick up our kids and spend the day together.

Kane: That sounds like a great idea.

Dr. Parker: Why don't we start from the beginning then.

Kane: Yeah I guess that would be the best place to start from.

Dr. Parker: So tell me, what are you finding difficult exactly?

Kane: For one I don't even remember being with this person, I'm gay for fuck sakes. I'm not even remotely attracted to women.

Dr. Parker: Do you think that maybe it might not even be your child? That it could just be a way to get money from you?

Kane: I thought of that, but the time the child was supposedly conceived was when I was at my worst. I was drinking and taking every drug possible. I don't remember much from that time really.

Dr. Parker: Well I think the next step would be to get a paternity test to be absolutely positive.

Kane: That would probably be the best thing to do. I haven't really been in contact with this woman, I only found out from my publicist who found out from a contact at the local news station.

Dr. Parker: The first thing to do then is contact your lawyer and give them all the information you have about this woman.

Kane: I should have done that a while ago, Morgan is pretty upset that I haven't done that yet. It just feels like every time things start going good shit seems to happen.

Dr. Parker: I'm pretty confidant that's not the case Kane. Still you need to stop putting it off and deal with whatever happens. I'll be here to help you through everything.

Kane: Thanks doc. I really don't know what I would do if I didn't have you to talk to.

Dr. Parker: Oh I'm sure you would be fine Kane. You know what to do, it's just a matter of following through that seems to throw you off a bit.

Kane: That sounds about right doc, haha. I guess I need to make an appointment with my lawyer.

Dr. Parker: That would be a start.

Kane: Thanks doc. I'll keep you updated on how things are going.
