Ok, so, I have a head canon that Johnny’s nickname for Kumiko is K.O. because she’s a lil baddie and it’s the initials of her name, I also think that Johnny calls him Daniel only when he’s thinking about him lol. Things are coming together: Johnny’s slowly turning back into his meat head self, Daniel’s just trying to live out his best KK2 canon free of toxic masculinity, and Kumiko is like ‘dude I have two Himbos for the summer.’ Tis the season, we are about to get into the drama arc, yes baby!

Hello hello I am back on my bullshit this time with a double feature AND Aisha ✌

This is a slowburn Lawrusso HC but I'll let you decide what the deal is with Amanda (divorced? Open marraige? The possibilities are endless.)

Part 1

They decide to make Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2 a double feature on a Saturday.

Daniel bought ALL the green snacks he could find because The Hulk is Anthony's favorite. He also ordered dinner.

Nobody is touching the brocoli

"Larusso, who the hell eats vegetables during a movie?"

"You don't eat vegetables at all, Johnny."

"Yet my abs are still better than yours."

Bert totally does not see Mr. L blush at that. No way. He can't handle any more soap opera twists in this dojo.

Sam and Miguel have brought down all the blankets and pillows from every bedroom in the house and Chris and Mitch are each given ONE pillow.

Nate and Bert let Hawk and Eli share their giant blanket nest so Mitch and Chris can use the loveseat.

Mitch and Chris argue about which side has the best view until Johnny yells "QUIET."

Anthony runs to the recliner before Johnny can sit there, even though Johnny has been standing in the living room for fifteen minutes hoping for Anthony to do exactly that.

Daniel makes a big show of having to share the couch with Johnny again.

Aisha shows up and doesn't even knock on the door before plopping into an armchair "Thanks for actually inviting me this time, losers."

"Sorry, Aisha."

Aisha gets two bags of candy and preferred seating in the nest as an apology.

"Sensei, just keep in mind this one isn't that good."

That is how Eli ends up with a bruised shin, and Anthony ends up in "movie jail" (a couch cushion at the foot of Daniel's seat where he can be closely supervised).

Miguel eyes the bean bags where he and Sam sat last time, then a cozy spot in the nest that they would need to lay down on.

"Don't even think about it, Diaz. I'll put YOU in movie jail."

"No, Mr. Larusso, sir."

They have to wait for Johnny to stop laughing (cackling) at Miguel to start the movie.

Johnny thinks the fluffy romantic scenes are stupid, but he turns to look at Larusso and notices the soft smile on his lips and thinks maybe the movie doesn't suck so bad.

But then they start talking about science stuff and he gets bored.

The kids cheer when Hulk says "Hulk smash!" And Johnny is confused.

Daniel taps him on the shoulder to say, "It's like his superhero motto." He doesn't scoot back to his side of the couch after.

Demetri and Eli are quietly sketching plans for their arc reactor in a notebook, their heads and shoulders close together while Eli's legs are in Demetri's lap.

Around the time that Abomination starts destroying Harlem, Daniel starts throwing popcorn at Johnny again.

Johnny's actually trying to pay attention now that the big monsters are going to fight, so he starts absentmindedly smacking the popcorn away.

Daniel starts throwing multiple pieces at a time until Johnny grabs his wrists and pins them to the couch, "Quit it."

"I thought you weren't into nerd shit."

"Shut up, Larusso, or I'll crane kick YOU in the face."

"Like you could."

There's a collective "SHHHH!" from the kids.

Johnny doesn't let go of Daniel's wrists until the movie is over.
