The sounds of silence bleed into my bulb, my precious fruit , my only love.a cast of drones peer at me through several planes of eyes repeating my face one to the other .... Fire flies are viewed as well "with suspicion". simple minds think alike but too often generate doubts . Only the queen knows for sure in her quietude as butterflies waft overhead ( also viewed with a wariness oft compared to the outlook of the working class toward those who seem to have no apparent agenda , more on this later)   After the work is done , some of the workers fall from the sky like children drifting into dreams. The day had seemed endless , an illusion of unity in walls of honey, a sun that basks in wait in the curve of planets , illuminates the very surface of time, ( as can be seen in books about nature and so on )Hummingbirds are often mistaken for other things amidst the activity of the hive , ......and so,  can any allegory emerge giving poetic meaning to things outside  a mere momentary sensory experience? does it matter? After all  there is work to be done. The butterflies appear to have no work to do, also an illusion.And though elusive they can be captured in nets which move like wind sacks in the lazy air of summer.
