The thing about this year's gig being run by new organisers isn't that I have a problem with structure. I LOVE structure and a flowchart, actually, so seeing this run poorly is annoying enough prima facie. But this state of affairs also disregards the practical concerns that were alleviated by recruiting in-community, before--there are cultural matters at play, and this umbrella body is not conversant in our mores, so I am not confident that we will be looked-after. And frankly we're already seeing police violence on a community level and an event liie this is an extreme target, so what would just be a lack of confidence on a previous year is actually a sense of alarm in this setting now.

naturally when I'm tending unwell I'm focused on feeling like crud and trying to just get out of the pit, you know. But it's so fun to know that I'm on the upswing again because now suddenly I can get hard so much more easily again :)
