Burn the Bitch

Everyone knows about his chronic infidelity, but I want to draw a particular focus to an incident from 2012 in the midst of his war against Justin Bieber and his mostly pre-teen fanbase. It has gone obscure, but it was never forgotten nor has it been lost to the sands of time.

This one is particularly special because he used his then-partner Paydin LoPachin's account to continue his sexting.

It wasn't me lol

Formerly, I was on Tumblr as the sideblog @steelflexbell which was birthed into existence the weeks following Quiet on Set's premiere. I created the blog out of goodwill, good faith, and ignorance. I wanted a space to discuss Jared Drake Bell, publicly known as Drake Bell, and his art with fellow fans. I wanted to show him support when it felt like the Internet was mostly against him. It came from a place of ignorance as I didn't know all of the facts regarding the allegations, and I have a tendency to want to see the best in people. I genuinely believed he wanted to change and grow to be a better person. Instead, I was hoodwinked and fell prey to his media manipulations. I wasn't the only one.

I found community and made new lifelong friends thanks to his courage to open up about the abuse he faced. Little did we know we were useful idiots. Very useful idiots. However, I wasn't as deluded as some fans. I acknowledged his fuck ups (not to the extent I should've). I didn't think his music was revolutionary. I never hesitated to call out fans who were being weird and enabling. I shouldn't have stopped that to keep the peace.

I plan on using this blog to document known behaviors whether buried online or sent to me. There's a lot to dig, and it is important that it is preserved.
