Staying the night at Nolan Patrick’s place for the first time?
Here you go :) Love a rosy-cheeked boy
Up until now, you hadn’t really seen Nolan’s really soft side much yet
You’d been friends long before this, by now you’ve gone on dates, you’d hung out at his place with other friends (i.e., Travis) around, but hadn’t been alone in private much yet,
He didn’t seem… comfortable? enough to do that yet
Listen, Nolan Patrick is a big softy. You know there was a soft side in there somewhere- you’d seen it peeking through every now and then, you just had to find it
You were the one who suggested spending the night at his place
What you didn’t know was that before you showed up, he was frantically trying to clean his place up for you, trying to get TK to help (of course he wouldn’t help, he just laughed and chirped him about being so soft)
And when you finally texted him you were here his cheeks aww
And before you can even knock on the door, Tk opens it and definitely yells “Be safe kids!” and leaves
So you’re kinda flustered by that interaction and you see Nolan standing deep in his apartment looking just as awkward
“Ummm… can I come in?” you laugh, but Nolan is still a little flustered and comes over to greet you
First, you want to eat dinner of some sort, but his kitchen is pretty sparse so you have to order takeout and eat on the couch
Most of the evening was spent watching some movie that you like, you were sitting next to each other with your head on his shoulder, but it really wasn’t enough
It was a little bit awkward for a bit like you were a couple of teenagers trying to act platonically with your parents in the other room, before you said
“Umm, we’re dating, right?”
He hadn’t been saying much but he was just stuck in his head and trying to figure out what he can do and if it’ll be too much for you or not- he just doesn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable
But he like really wants to cuddle you
So you lay back against some pillows and coax him to lay down half on top of you
He does, even though his cheeks are red
He’s a big blanket and you love it
“Shut up.” but he’s smiling and you can see it and it just warms up your heart
So now he’s just all soft and cuddled against you and smiling
It seems like he got much more comfortable
He’s thinking it too, like oh wow, we’re finally comfortable and not awkward
He knows he can come off kinda nonchalant sometimes so he’s glad that tonight he was able to open up more or else it would’ve haunted him for the rest of his life
He keeps making sassy little comments about the movie and you can’t help but giggle at them
And you keep playing with his hair
It gets dark while you’re watching the movie and you think it’s time to get up and get into pajamas and get ready for bed but…
And he’s asleep peacefully laying on top of you and its the cutest thing because its the softest you’ve ever seen him
You could just lay and stare at him forever but you really gotta brush your teeth
“Hmmm.” He groans all grumpy
“Get up grumpy, we have to get ready for bed.”
You get up and brush your teeth and change, figuring he’s too tired to shower (even though he kinda should wash his hair)
He’s only been asleep for like 10 minutes but he’s already grumpy, so you can’t imagine how grumpy he’s gonna be in the morning
You climb into his bed, you in your pajamas and him in a hoodie and sweatpants
It makes you all smiley at the thought of just being in his bed for the first time
Nolan is also really happy to see you here
He’s usually a pretty private guy so sharing something like this is a big step
He’s super tired and that makes him more touchy and affectionate than normal
He lays on his side and you lay next to him, kinda higher up in the bed than him and put your hands in his hair.
And then he pulls you closer to him and kinda holds you like a pillow and it feels really nice, especially because his soft side is finally out there for you and you only to see
You poke him and kiss his rosy cheeks for a little bit just because he’s so cute
And it gets him to whine “stoop iiiiiit.”
It doesn’t take him long to fall asleep
