The story's main character would be Time (the blond guy with long ass hair which I've drawn multiple times). He's part of a family of deities, the Ethereals, children of The Light King, and he's the Ethereal of the element of Time (Time for short).

The 1000 year old conflict is between the Ethereals and the Titans, rival family of deities, and children of the Shadow Lord. It's very much inspired by the Titanomachy, but the Ethereals (that parallel the Olympians) aren't exactly good people, having declared war because of their thirst for power

The main story is divided in three parts or "arcs" if you will:

Titan:Genesis (before and during the war),,

Ethereal (1000 years after the war),,

Titan (just after the end of Ethereal).

Time is the black sheep of his family and eventually decides to rebel against them and side with the Titans. His closest companions are Iperion (warrior titan, "the wolf", the guy with green horns) and Mnemosyne (witch titan, "the sheep" haven't posted her yet)

The Ethereals and their army do unfortunately manage to kill the Titans during the war,, but Time strikes a deal with the Shadow Lord to bring the Titans back, but he only agrees to revive them if the Ethereals separated the sky islands (where they all resided) from the land below, where the Titans would be put, without powers but still immortal (they can be killed tho).

Time is then put in exile for being a traitor ((by his own siblings btw)) and he stays there for 1000 yrs 🫡🫡.

The Ethereals during the 1000 year timeskip do make a deal with the people, their "followers", since they were quite dictatorial in their ruling: they will leave the sky islands for good and leave the power and government to the people, by also giving them powers to sustain themselves. BUT they will be stripped of immortality (hence why I didn't call them mortals) and their prayers and favour will not be answered anymore.

The Ethereals retreat, and settle in the Ethereal Plane, were they live. (Time is also exiled there,, he's exiled in basically a liminal space lol.)

Since they're huge pieces of crap, they still want some form of control over the planet and the people. They decide to each create a mortal looking heir using their powers, starting the second generation of Ethereals. They would takes turns in creating them, one at a time, and would send them into the mortal plane as babies.

This was only Titan:Genesis and A SUMMARY OF IT 😭 there's very crucial world building to understand what the fuck is going on but I've rambled on for so much time... let me know if you want Ethereal and Titan explained i'll reblog it and add onto it.

Time is. Definitely my favourite oc...I've poured so many hours of thought into him. He is an allegory for neurodivergence and masking in a sense,, doesn't help that he's built up so much self hatred and guilt that he believes he's expendable.

ALRIGHT THE TITANS!! Like the Ethereals, they're 7 siblings. They each have a spirit animal that is represented in their design,, and they each have a signature weapon. They have some titles that explain wtf they do so i'll list them::

-Rhea (Titaness, The Snake, Our Lady, Her Grace) she's the head honcho. The big sister of the Titans, cares deeply for her siblings and would do anything to protect them. She can be a bit overbearing and self centered at times. She fights using Chakram ("the serpentine twins")

-Kryos (Titan of the South, The Ox, Shepherd) he's the healer of the group. He's calm, quiet and can be quite frightening on the outside? He's probably the most level headed and most mentally stable of the Bunch. Heals using a staff and book. ("The Book and Staff of Lazarus")

-Themis (Prophet Titan, The Moth) being a Prophet, Themis is blind. That's why her role is that of a protector, using her prophetic powers to make shields to block attacks she can see coming. She's a very...interesting person. She can be quite offputting, but she means well. Weapon, shield ("The Wall of Costantinople")

-Mnemosyne (Witch Titan, The Sheep, Moon Titan) my GOAT!!!!(no pun intended). Being one of the main characters she's more developed than the others (this is all a work in progress). She used to be in a cult like setting were she was worshipped like an absolute saviour, but she ran away, helped by Iperion, to pursue her freedom.

She's closest with her twin brother Iperion. She's the number 1 ragebaiter and she's quite loud and enthusiastic when she's with her closest ones. She fights with a magical sword ("the toothpick"), and her powers derive from spirit animals.

-Iperion (Titan of the East, Warrior Titan, The Wolf, Sun Titan).....my goat....my fucking goat....

He's also one of the mcs so he's also way more developed. He was abandoned and cast away by his tribe, forced to live alone and regarded as a "monster" for not being able to control his powers like his siblings. He lived alone for years, with his only contact being his twin sister who was able to only visit him once in a while ((against her will,, she was scared shitless iperion was gonna harm himself...they have a very strong and close bond and would do anything to help the other))

He's the classic "pushes people away because he believes he doesn't deserve love" and it becomes very hard once a certain time deity brings light into his and Mnemosyne's life. He fights with a bow and arrow ("The Phoenix")

-Oceanos (Titan of the North, The Salmon, Seawatcher) he's always been the odd one out. He's not a very sociable person, keeps to himself and his tribe. He's never been really trusting of the Ethereals, and that was reinforced by the war and by the fact they targeted him first. Something bad might be brewing inside of him. Fights with an harpoon ("Hope's Edge")

-Iapetus (Titan of the West, The Tiger, The Artisan) the youngest Titan, and the one who decides to embrace childhood forever. (ALSO despite being called iapetus they use she/they!!). She specialises in pottery and crafts of any kind. Her tribe is known for being a tribe of wonderfully skilled artisans. They're quite the bouncy kid and will never run out of ideas. Terrorises the family reunions and likes to climb on their tallest siblings and sit on their shoulders to feel taller than everyone! She doesn't have a traditional weapon, but she does have specialised boots for speed & athletics ("Shoes of The Tiger")
