I lay next to this little hard headed, stubborn, sweet-faced grandson of mine and I am sooo grateful of the time I get with him. He makes me such a amazing Lolli and and love just being around him. Dan and I are such better people when he is around. We get to spend quality time with him and I hope that never gets taken away as I know we are just as important to him as he is to us. Being able to witness the little guy he is growing up to be is such a privilege and an honor. Seeing him carrying on my Svenson last name is beautiful to me. I love knowing that he was named after the most loving man I have ever known and he would be proud. Well here we are..... 23 years ago today (not until 10:46 pm) I gave birth to such an amazing sweet baby. It was you and I against the world! You taught me so much at the tender age of 17. You made me a mom- a very proud mom- a protective mom- a mom who had nothing but pure unconditional love. YOU taught me that. Now I get to be a witness to the same thing as I see the type of mom you are with Ellody. My heart is full when I get to see how hard you love her and how protective and proud you are of her. I love being able to witness those small moments when you don’t think I’m looking. I am in awe at who you are and the road God is leading you on. You are amazing and loved.
