He was able to resist? How dare? He let out a playful huff and pouted as they walked hand in hand to go sit down. "Hm...whatever shall I do then...? Hm...I refuse to give up."

Nikolai snickered at his lover, it was so amusing when they got all playful like this.. he adored it. Nikolai loved being whimsical and just silly with his Husband.

"Gotta be EXTRA cute. I'm talking cute it'll make me sick~!" he giggled louder and walked along with his lover, heading to the couch to plunk down.

....Oho, he was being given a challenge? He loved acting extra cute for Nikolai, but if he was going to get a prize?

Nikolai better be prepared.

Nikolai giggled, amused by Dazai's show to him for those extra pieces. He leaned in and pressed a kiss to those lips and held it, and then popped off with a smile.

Like he would ever turn down caramel no matter how late it was. He made a face that said he very much might be getting two or three of them if he played his cards right.

He mixed his cocoa, practically vibrating with excitement. "Does it have to be just one?"

"Hmmm~? You need more than one~? Does my Dove wanna fill his lil pooch with caramel candies~?" Nikolai teased and gave him a look from his eye.

"But it means you get woken up a bit prematurely most of the time~ Because I can't resist the urge to give you kisses...you look so cute when you're sleeping."

Returns the cuddles.

"I haven't~ But if you make one for me sometime, I'll eat it."

"But I don't mind. I gotta get up anyways! I would rather get woken up by your kisses than an obnoxious loud alarm~," Nikolai pointed out to his lover with a little smile.

"I will have to make one then. It's good, I love it~. But I also got some s'mores caramels.. I know it's late and we're having cocoa but-- I'd like you to try just one~."

Nikolai takes the kettle off the stove and pours it into the two mugs. He gets the bag of cocoa to tear open with his teeth and pour the mix into each mug.

He gave a bit of a shy smile. "I'm glad that it doesn't bother you to wake up to me like that in the morning. I remember being very nervous that you might be upset."

And then he was taught things he didn't know.

"Now you're just being silly~. You know it's the best way to wake up, seeing you look at me so lovingly with that bright smile of yours~. I love it so much~." And he bumped his head against his lover and nuzzled some.

"Yeah we can. Have you ever had a fluffernutter? I love them~. It's a peanut butter and fluff sandwich~. It's nummy~."

He giggled, amused. "Of course you wouldn't~."

"Well, then it's a good thing I smile a lot nowadays isn't it?" Hums happily and guides them to the cabinet to retrieve the marshmallows. "I like it when they start to melt a bit if you take a few minutes to drink the cocoa," he said once the bag was in hand.

"I love your smiles~. They give me life~. They are a reason I live and love to wake up to them~."

Nikolai followed after him with his very own smile. "I like the fluff, cos it's perfect for melting. Packaged marshmallows have a coating that resists melting to stop the mallows from sticking together in a bag~. But I didn't pick up any fluff I don't think..."

"I do everything I can~ But most of the time I barely have to try," and he wasn't trying to toot his own horn here either. It was just a fact. Nikolai had perked up just by talking about Dazai's birthday.

"I know.. that's 'cos you make me very happy, you know? Just getting to talk to you, seeing your smiles makes me feel better..." He purred and nuzzled a bit into him.

"Of course I am~ I love making you blush...you're so cute~" At the nuzzling, he leaned over and kissed the top of his head.

"I think I'm the luckiest man alive to have you as my Husband~. So thoughtful, so caring, so loving~. I am blessed with the most beautiful and loving Husband ever~," he purred and nuzzled his head a bit into his neck.

He filled up the kettle and turned off the faucet when it was full up, flashing a satisfied smile at his blushing Husband.

"Dooooove~. Now you're REALLY trying to make me blush~! I can't help if your kisses to my cheek are a weak spot~! I am weak to those kisses there! It's so innocent~."

"Mmmhm, it is~" And he was definitely enjoying the way Nikolai was perking up so well. He thought that his Husband might enjoy this kind of game.

"Okay~" He would do exactly that. "Just tell me what to do and I'll do it~"

Nikolai was indeed perking up from the earlier night terror. But then again, Dazai tended to calm him and turn his mood right around in mere moments. Keeping him distracted and getting his mind to get to another topic.

"Okay~." He opened the kettle and grabbed it and held it under the faucet at the sink. "Go ahead and fill 'er up~," Nikolai told his over.
