"Thank you", an ACNH comic I made back in 2020
I was going through my old digital art files and found this unfinished comic I made in June of 2020. The file name is called "thank you". I hadn't thought about this comic in a long, long time. 2020 was one of the worst years of my life. Being a depressed high school student with barely any friends during lockdown was incredibly hard on me. My family life wasn't that great either at the time so it kinda felt like my animal crossing island was the only place where I really belonged. Since then a lot has changed and while I still struggle with my mental health my life has significantly improved compared to when I first made this. I'm grateful that I still have this comic to look back on as a reminder of how far I've come. And as a reminder of how grateful I am to have this game in my life.
