The Best Poems of 1932, it's a collection, some good, some okay etc

The Middle Parts of Fortune, Frederic Manning: despite my lack in interest in WWI from a historical perspective, it does have some great art. That said, I would rather Morris' archaism over eye dialect any day

(digital) Qasida For When I Became A Woman, Huma Sheikh: and okay collection, I did enjoy it while reading but two months on, it hasn't really stuck with me

Selected TE letters: this was my first reread of the year which is actually unusual for me. I was reading it mostly for TERC data collection but man it is so weird coming back to these being a decade older than the last time I read them......

The Great War of Words: British, American, and Canadian Propaganda and Fiction 1914-1933, Peter Buitenhuis: Some interesting stuff, though I found it a bit... shallow or sparse

Peacock Pie, Walter de la Mare: these are 'children's poems' but damn, some of them hit very hard, really enjoyable

The Idiot, Fyodor Dostoyevsky: BOY.... I really do want to like Dostoyevsky but this didn't really pick up for me until about page 400, and then the last 100 pages I did really like, so like, the potential is there, the themes and stories are compelling, I just struggle with his writing, perhaps I simply need more practice

(digital) Sightings, Patrick Friesen: I've been using LibraryThing's early reviewer program to get free poetry books this year which is cool bc I do want to read modern poetry. Anyway, I liked this one, there are poems in it that I do want to go back to
