So I am Pip and this is like my tumblr for some reason.

I like art and religion and science and words and comics and fandom and sillyness and music and the internet and the LGBTQ+ community and stuff and movies and kewpies and being ridiculous and when you stick your hands under the faucet when the water is on high and then you pull them back real fast and your hands are covered in little bubbles like church gloves for one silver moment. :D

DECEMBER 2018:

It’s about 7 years later and I sure have been embarrassing on the internet in the time since! I’ve wanted to remake for a while, but some of the record here is important to me. So, I’m relocating some of my favorites to this blog: oberonslieutenant. 

I’ve used my blog for different things over the years-- communicating with friends, publishing artwork, self documentation, activism-- but at this time in my life I want this space to be more of a gallery than a social media account. I have other blogs to be social on and I’ll link those in this post when I’ve set them up. I think it’s been this way for some time, but here’s officially saying that this is no longer my personal blog (though it is still my primary blog), I just want to be a curator of a nice little corner of the internet.

Lots of things have changed and some have stayed the same. I’m Pip, Z and I got married in 2017, I've graduated from college, I moved, I have an awesome job in my field at a museum, I’m applying for a ph.d program in paleoanthropology. I’m still recovering and learning. I’m still ridiculous and do still quite like when you stick your hands under the faucet when the water is on high and then you pull them back real fast and your hands are covered in little bubbles like church gloves for one silver moment. 

My love and thanks to all of you who have grown with me, my apologies to all of you that I’ve been insufferable and insensitive to. To those who I've fallen away from and those who I've fallen out with: I hope you are well, and truly, no matter what happened or how I feel about you now, I regret that I was not clearer and kinder about it. There is so, so much I would change if I could go back. 

For better or worse, all I can do is be here and do better, so I will. Please feel free to follow, but I hope you will feel equally free to unfollow or softblock, or do whatever if this blog isn't to your tastes!
