it surrounds me. swallows me whole in green breath and shadow. i dont like paths and direction, theres a need to be lost.

when im in need of still, i hold on till night and run a hot bath. i love to soak beneath the frozen surface, limbs weightless and the world hushed.

i light a single candle, that flickers beside me and casts gold upon my walls, whilst tje window stands ajar; enough for the cold air to sneak in and kiss me.
