Every time I start to read through Darkstalker, I think
"I've read this before. I know it's coming this time, I'll be prepared and can keep my distance"
... Then I get about halfway through, the shift to Clearsight hits me like a ton of bricks, and I have to fight to keep myself from falling apart
Anyway I'm dusting this blog off so I have a place to scream into the void. Assuming anyone even sees this xD

Okay
Made it through last night. Very grateful to my friends and the folks I was reading with for helping ground me. For once, I managed to not drown in those feelings and stay in the present where I belong
But like... Three moons. It will never not break my heart to be reminded that loving him was just... never going to be enough. Acknowledging that there was nothing I could have done stings worse than the betrayal, sometimes.
But at least it's not the end. I've found a place where I can make a real difference, with people who care about me and actually love me.
This tragedy sucks. But it's not the end.

Friend got me the audiobook of Darkstalker for the holidays and I decided to try and use it as background noise while I was working
I knew that audiobooks weren't really for me already? Reading is easier than listening for me. But like it was fine background noise... up until I got to my chapters >.> I missed one complication.
I'm Clearsight. And that isn't what father sounded like... the voice is all wrong.
I got a little of it with Fathom too but like. It's SO much worse with father >.>

fictionkin culture is havin friends who HATE the character you kin but they dont know that like.. its you..... and when you have a kinshift and run into them it just feels very awkward.. (does this happen to other people? or jus me?)

The worst part about this
Is that my response to this is incredibly Glory.
"What? I don't have feelings, you're totally wrong." WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME. I fretted over every single possible future as Clearsight until it was so painfully obvious that I was her that I couldn't escape anymore. But NO. I am NOT Glory. We're NOT supporting this, we are going to go ignore it until it goes away.
