This is why Adrienne loves second shooters! :) (please click on the high res to see full image!)
Truth is, having a second shooter on a wedding is essential. They are able to get shots that are sometimes overlooked by the primary photographer because they are focused on getting the pictures that you want.Â
I've shot as Adrienne's second shooter many times, and as a veteran second shooter, I can't tell brides enough how important it is to have one. We get the sneaky shots, the hidden ones, the obvious ones...sometimes we even get the ones that no one even thinks about. At one wedding when everyone was focused on the bride and groom, I was busy taking pictures of the flower girl and the ring bearer who were playing patty cake in the front row pew.Â
During times like in the pictures above, we can sometimes capture moments that are often missed. Chances are, had she not had a second shooter with her, Adrienne would not have been able to have gotten that second shot and you would have never even thought to have gone back and gotten it.Â
Second shooters are essential, and I believe that every wedding should have at least two. Talk to your wedding photographer about how you can benefit from having two photographers at your wedding or event.
