I've been having issues with my medication lately. Sunday night I had some kind of reaction that made me pass out and vomit. I was put on trazadone to help me sleep tuesday and I cant sleep. I'm groggy and confused and out of it but I still cant sleep. I feel like I'm going crazy. No one will talk to me and I dont know what to do anymore.

My abuser died this week. I dont know how I'm supposed to feel. My step mom died this week. I'm not sad and I havent cried. Hearing my family mourn somone is heartbreaking. But its difficult to feel sorry for them when the person they miss made my life a living hell. They post their memories and write out their love to her online. I'd post a memory or two but the only ones that come to mind are memories of her screaming at me and telling me how worthless I am. How am I supposed to mourn someone I wanted gone? How am I supposed to mourn someone who hurt me?

Something I never hear people talk about with ibs is how it affects your relationships. Its difficult for me to go out with my friends/boyfriend and my sexual relationship with him as also taken a plunge. Its hard to feel sexy and like going out when you explode a bathroom every 30 minutes.

Honestly one of the reasons I hate going to doctors. It's like what's the point if there "is nothing wrong with me"
Well I'm getting my ibs pretty much in check. I need to refill prescriptions but that's it! Maybe the doctors will get their ahit together soon too.
The fodmap diet and digestive enzymes are helping alot! My stomach feels like it can handle what I put in it. Now if my butt could 😂 the next step for me is L- Glutamine to help rebuild my lower intestine. Has anyone else tried it?

Good news! The fodmap diet is helping alot. I cant tell if the digestive enzymes are helping yet but it's still too soon to tell. But things are looking up. No more getting up at 3am in pain. I still have some bloating and uncomfortable pain but not nearly as bad as what it was!

My boyfriend has been spending less and less time with me recently. Its seems hed rather play his video games. Every night this week I've gotten home from work to him playing his game. We talk when we eat but then he goes right back to them. I really dont mind if he plays. I really dont. But I'd also like to spend time with him and it seems like I dont get to unless j make a bug deal about it.

IBS isn't fun
If there's one chronic illness you don't want to have, its Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). It is literally torture and feels like your digestive system is a torture chamber. It feels like I'm being stabbed in the butt and parts of my colon. The twitching is so unbearable, no wonder why IBS is sometimes called "spastic colon." I'm almost scared of eating sometimes because I end up feeling like I'm gonna shit myself everytime I eat large meals. I just want my own bathroom so badly as I type this.
IBS, alongside autism, I say, have ruined my life. And before anyone calls me internally ableist, it's not ableist if it's true. Yes, I'm ashamed of my disabilities, who isn't? No level of positivity has helped. I can only accept the facts.
I've wanted to talk about this for a while, I just haven't had the time to do so. These issues have intensified over the past few days, and I can't resist discussing this illness that affects my life greatly.
