I know that Tyler said that not every song belongs to the Dema and Clancy storyline, but when I fisrt heard Lavish and read the lyrics to it I was convinced that it totally belongs to the story. Why?

My first thought were that Tyler and Josh aren't the type of celebrities to brag about their wealth and luxury lifestyle. Then the line 'welcome to the style you haven't seen in a while' hit me because what the hell do you mean by that? So my mind went to Clancy and how it might fit to him more than our real Tyler and Josh.

From what we know, Clancy is important for the Bishops and he escaped the Dema a few times. In my interpretation I call Lavish 'The Luring Song'. I imagine a dream-like sequence where the Bishops get into Clancy's head and show him the lavish style he could have been having if he stayed and maybe they'd provide for him if he comes back (which is surely a trap). He would be the biggest star, wouldn't have to care about anything and anybody just living like he deserves. (Kinda imagine it like the scene in The Princess and the frog where Facilier shows Tiana her dream restaurant). But eventually in the end it would get to his head and he would end up on the same level as the Bishops-selfish and so full of himself (verse 2).

Anyway, it's surprisingly a good song and I love how each song has it's unique sound. Also the music video was so funny!
