Lovino stares up from the container of fruit with a deep sigh. “Dio, Antonio. What a horribly beautiful fate I have found myself in. What ever shall I do?” He ponders for moment. “Guess,I’ll have to get used doing stuff like this.“ He begins to pepper his face in kisses before placing a finger his nose.

“Fighting isn’t the only way to get strong, loco.” He rolled his eyes fondly, hand retracting from his as to rest gently over his own hip. His body leaned slightly to the right, shifting more weight onto it. “You have always been weaker than me, silly amigo. And that’s rude. I should kick you out.”

He placed a piece of honey dew melon in his mouth. Even though he personally disliked being watched as he ate, just seeing Antonio’s expressions and the clear enjoyment he was experiencing brought a smile to his face. He couldn’t help but chuckle, the man that sat next to him just brought him pure and utter joy. He shook his head. “No, I’m the lucky one.”

“You?” A laugh, then another bite - and then a swallow after a few munches. Wiping over his lip with a serviette, he simply smiled and shook his head. “No, no-- I think you’re more unlucky than anything else,” another laugh. “You’re stuck with me for the rest of your life - no take backs!”

Eyes settled upon the container Antonio held. “It was too good of an idea to pass up.” He reached over and pulled another one towards him opening it, inside just assortment of fruit. “Yeah,let’s eat.”

Oops. All he could do was continue to sheepishly smile as he began to remove the wrapping of the bandaids, only to attend to his mild cuts. “Let us hope they don’t follow me then.” With a hum, he nodded, eyes gazing to her for a moment then shifting back to his fingers. “My records might still be there, I injured myself a lot last year but ah- I am Antonio. Student mentor. You are..?”

“Gah!” He choked out as he was sat on. He tried to out, but once again he was unable to, “dang it Toni! What the heck have you been eating?! Get off me!” He continues to struggle before sighing, “great. If a…sunflower…rabbit can beat me then I’ve really been slacking off.”

Antonio grinned. “Excuse me. I eat properly. You just haven’t been working on!” At his latter words, he fell into laughter and patted his head before rising back up to his feet, holding a hand out to help him up. “Come on. Wait- You did hear me right or-”

She looked up from the cup she had been filling, the last note of her little ditty hummed in a questioning tone. “Oh, yes, of course.” Leaving the cup on the counter, she rifled through a drawer. “What kind of nurse would I be if I didn’t have some bandaids?” She glanced over to him, trying to quickly count the cuts on his fingers and opting to grab a bunch of them instead. Handing them over, she asked, “How’d you get all these cuts?”

“I’m so sorry, I didn’t want to scare like that. I just let my thoughts spill at the wrong time. I would’ve done this at home but didn’t want Humpty and Dumpty messing things up for us.” Rubs Antonio’s cheek before laughing “You’re such a dork, I love you. I promised a nice date and this Italian is going to deliver.“

Antonio sighed blissfully; all the worries he had were washed away now and for the first time, in a while, he finally felt at peace. “I love you too. Honestly I-” He shook his head, laughing a bit. “I thought you forgot about the date thing. I should’ve known better.” Reaching over to one of the food containers, he pulled it closer to them before popping the lid off. “Let’s eat?”

He let out a (unmanly) squeak as he was dragged inside (though he’ll deny it later). “Hey! This isn’t fi– HAHAHA!” He laughed loudly as he was tickled. He tried to squirm away, but Toni’s grip made him unable to. “S-stop!” He shouted, laughing, “enough! T-Toni! I-I m-mean–HAHAHA”

“Huh?” He blinked. He stood up and turned around, “What is she– Wait, she’s not here–” 

Right as he turned around, Antonio whirled both his arms around him. “Deception!” And dragged him inside, nudging the door shut and soon enough, proceeded to tickle him over and down his sides.
