Part of my art practice is the facilitation of body,movement, sound and listening into my 2D 3D 4D AR installations art work. #Claudialamyart This weekend I got to explore my body and object with one of Meredith Monk facilitators #ellenfisher. Wow! I got a depth of an experience with the connecting through this workshop. Warm up Connect two distinct parts of your body communicate as two points to contract or expand. I am a self taught dancer and realized how this basic understanding of my own body could of helped me in years or frustration in choreography. Though at the same time it gave me the space to keep my body movement innocent. 1. Connecting to the object. I picked a chrysocolla stone from my alter. As I was directed to hold the object on the palm and move it to the other palm, I was surprised of how much more information I was getting. It was so light, spongy inside and edgy. As I moved it along my hands to understand it more before translating it to movement. What does this lead to... Well it continues my research for public art work intention.
