8 of march 2022 | “ Women are machines for suffering” is what Picasso once said, with his cruelty contributing to the hurt in the lives of the many women who met him. I hate that he said that and I hate that I have seen it to be true for me and the women in my life, just because it is understood to be our duty and in our nature. Suffering doesn’t make you stronger, it breaks you piece by piece and the many scars it leaves hold the pain as a reminder of the cruelty. On this day I dream of peace of mind and peace in the world, I wish of love, of independence, of healing, of equal treatment and of understanding that we, as women, should not be treated as if we have more hearts to shatter.
