Classes 'n Aspects 'n Stuff

Well, every class has its own function, which is further influenced by their aspect, but ultimately the individual's place in the session is determined by their session. By the nature of paradox space, every session has already reached its complexion before its begun and the role and fate of every player is already determined.

For the second part of your question:

There isn't really a single class that focuses on helping people emotionally - it's more the Aspect. A Sylph of Heart, for example, is a very romantic and passionate person who, on top of healing the physical heart, will focus on repairing romantic relationships. So she'll help through emotions. The Aspects that help people emotionally would be: Heart and Blood. (Blood is about loyalty and friendship, which is linked to emotion.)

Even Sylphs, a healing class, don't necessarily focus on helping "emotionally". It's all in the Aspect!
