TV shows have to keep in mind what the viewers think of the show. If a show goes down a road that viewers don’t like it means less views and less money, and considering Riverdale is now the CW’s biggest show it needs to keep making money.

The ratings for 4x17 got 3.4 stars out of 10, in comparison to the episode before that got 8.5 out of ten, it really shows how the fandom feels about b*rchie.

They attempted the ship in season one but experimented with Bughead too to see how people felt about it. And it worked. The majority of the fandom ship Bughead and the show cannot afford to lose that many viewers.

Sure, they’ll experiment and have scenes with b*rchie like the black hood kiss and the kiss in Hedwig, but it won’t fully go there if it wants to keep good ratings and the majority of its viewers.

I've watched all the episodes and going in with low expectations, I was pleasantly surprised. I like that the Netflix show is doing its own thing and you know what, it works. Not everything is perfect, it starts a bit slow but things get interesting after episode 1 & 2. I liked this take on Bloom, but I can see if some people dont. I'll add that Im really glad Musa's romantic interest isnt Riven and Terra is actually a very solid character and she's one of my favorites from it.

Would I recommend it? Im not sure, but I liked it. Go in expecting something different if youre a Winx Club fan. Is it as bad as people say it is? In my opinion, no, it's not that bad, there are many good ideas and Ill be waiting here silently for Series 2.

Note: Stella's character starts off rough and I was originally worried about the way the show did her. It doesnt last, she develops in the last couple episodes.
